The Vincent Hotel

it is our preferred hotel when travelling to visit our daughter, very clean but its the helpfulness and kind attitude of the staff that makes the hotel so perfect.

We booked the Vincent for our anniversary , the hotel is stunning! On arriving to our room we had a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates waiting for us which was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Unfortunately the lighting however is very poor including on the corridors, this could be a major problem if someone had an eye impairment. We decided on getting dinner at the restaurant, the portion size did not reflect the price and unfortunately I realised I had been over charged when I checked my bank, I addressed this with them and as of yet the over charge had not been refunded. £75 for 2 baked potatoes, a portion of mushrooms and 2 drinks is very very excessive. The beds are huge and super comfy, we had a lovely sleep, however I think for the price of the hotel it would be nice to offer basic extras such as bath robes in the rooms and some bottled water in the fridge. I woke in the night very thirsty and there wasn’t any. The breakfast was a buffet style breakfast which was enjoyed but again rather basic, you can order off the menu but this is for an extra charge. We overall had a lovely stay and booked direct to rerun in aug for my partners birthday.

I stayed here for 1 night and wished I had stayed here longer. On check in the lady was lovely on the desk. The room was gorgeous and huge for just myself. I loved the idea of the moving painted wall as the blackout shutter. The bed was soo comfy. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful when it came to my gluten free and lactose intolerance.

Went to a party at Vincent upstairs in function room , I only had 2 drinks of which were brandy and coke , the only drink I drink, only to be told when my husband went to get me another drink oh we got none , so asked do you not have any downstairs to be told NO I don’t do the ordering, such a lovely place , But a big let down , shouldnof brought a bottle in my bag , but no I don’t do that

We booked an overnight stay as I have treatment for cancer and not been able to go anywhere for the past 10 months. On check in we were upgraded to a Junior suite totally unexpected. The room was beautiful and we appreciated the upgrade as it was our first stay here. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and the two members of staff very welcoming and ensuring they did all they could to ensure great service at breakfast. Just fab! The car service is also brilliant, no worries about parking and again a lovely man on duty. Emily on reception went above and beyond to make our stay not only fabulous but very special. We will definitely return.

What a lovely hotel with staff to match! Stayed last weekend for a birthday treat and really had a fab time. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. There was a delicious chocolate plate in the room (just for me!!) with a birthday card - how thoughtful was that! The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble We ate in the V Cafe and the food was to die for Would we go back - absolutely we would, thanks Vincent Team
