This booking is a total rip-off from the beginning to end. 1.Make sure you have free cancelation because you will surely use it. 2. Just know that there are extensive hidden fees including paying for paddle boarding, scuba diving, etc whether you use them or not all guest are required to pay at the end amongst other things. 3.Customer Service was horrific from beginning to end starting with long check in wait times without any acknowledgement also don't expect them to initially fill you in on the astronomical fees that they tack on in the end.Also, upon finding out they placed me on a ground level floor facing all the foot traffic opposite of any ocean or scenic views, I was promised a room change the following day which never happened for the duration of my stay. 4. Room service surprisingly came to my room at 8pm inquiring about service which was bizarre. 5.Food is insanely expensive including room servic delivery. I paid almost $50 for a small sized pizza at the low end restaurant.Free Breakfast which was listed upon booking as well as on my receipt was anything but free so be where.They told me upon checkout it is only $80 but there is nowhere stating that information. One hostess at Salt shack told me it would would be a 20minute wait for breakfast or I can try a buffet upstairs but after walking in the hotsun upstairs there was no buffet or restaurant and so the 20 minute wait continued. 6.Overall hiddeen fees were were astronomical.This is a 2star rating at best.i hate that I chose this place for my stay it was a total rip off!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful, quiet, comfortable and excellent service. We were happy lounging by the pool everyday and Wendy and team made it extra special for us. Thank you!!

My husband and I are currently staying at The Buoy House (St.Thomas VI). We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary ❤️. We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place (and we've seen some beautiful places). The staff is wonderful...so far I would love to thank Wendy (pool manager). He has made our time here so special! We never wanted for anything, a thank you to Davis as well...he keeps my husband hydrated! Cecil gave us some off property recommendations, for fun. Karimah set us up with a complementary pool cabana to celebrate our big day, thank you!! Knema sent lovely treats to our room, that we enjoyed after a long glorious day in the sun. We've had meals at both the Buoy House and the Westin...everything was amazing, even our meals by the pool! I'm looking forward to what the next 3 days will bring! Also, a big shout out to the Housekeepers and attendents! Our room is always made up clean and fresh and are provided anything we ask for! My husband and I enjoyed the beach for the first time yesterday, and it was awesome! The waves from Erin were a little too big for us until then. We will definitely be returning, the Bonvoy app has yet to release this week next year...if they had, we would already be booked! Thanks BH staff for making this trip amazing! 💗 The Wolcotts

We ended up here during hurricane Erin on our way home from St.John. Our flight out of St. Thomas was cancelled and it was quickly getting very stormy. We booked 2 last minute rooms for our family. We were welcomed by a hardworking staff that never flinched at any of the stressors. Knema and Karimah were especially organized and assisted us. Nicholas was working at the restaurant/bar and was very informative as well as welcoming. Maria the manager was continuously making sure we had everything we needed. Our stay ended up being 4 nights until the airlines were back to normal to get us home. Wendy at the pool was also always at hand to assist with towels, chairs and anything else was needed. Carline was diligent in delivering towels every night. The entire stay, the property was clean and the staff always friendly and wanting to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Thank you all!!!

We came to Buoy Haus right after the hurricane, and the staff really made the best of a tough situation. The beach was closed the first few days, but the pool team took great care of us. Wendy, the pool supervisor, who went above and beyond to make sure our 8-month-old had shade and space to nap comfortably. By midweek, the seaweed was being cleaned up and people were back in the water, though a lot of the beach had been washed away and there’s now a steep drop-off to the shoreline. The staff is clearly working hard to get everything back to normal. Only downsides for me were that the treadmills were out of order and the water filtration system hadn’t been replaced yet—I ended up using the gym at the neighboring property instead. Overall, it’s a small, intimate spot with great staff who really care about guests. Once the beach fully recovers, it’ll be even better.

Wendy at poolside….was outstanding! His attentiveness was exceptional! The souvenirs , wooden turtle and a shell bracelet were adorable. Golden Girls, Lisa, Janis and Pam.
