Great resort, location on the water staff very friendly.

This booking is a total rip-off from the beginning to end. 1.Make sure you have free cancelation because you will surely use it. 2. Just know that there are extensive hidden fees including paying for paddle boarding, scuba diving, etc whether you use them or not all guest are required to pay at the end amongst other things. 3.Customer Service was horrific from beginning to end starting with long check in wait times without any acknowledgement also don't expect them to initially fill you in on the astronomical fees that they tack on in the end.Also, upon finding out they placed me on a ground level floor facing all the foot traffic opposite of any ocean or scenic views, I was promised a room change the following day which never happened for the duration of my stay. 4. Room service surprisingly came to my room at 8pm inquiring about service which was bizarre. 5.Food is insanely expensive including room servic delivery. I paid almost $50 for a small sized pizza at the low end restaurant.Free Breakfast which was listed upon booking as well as on my receipt was anything but free so be where.They told me upon checkout it is only $80 but there is nowhere stating that information. One hostess at Salt shack told me it would would be a 20minute wait for breakfast or I can try a buffet upstairs but after walking in the hotsun upstairs there was no buffet or restaurant and so the 20 minute wait continued. 6.Overall hiddeen fees were were astronomical.This is a 2star rating at best.i hate that I chose this place for my stay it was a total rip off!

We stayed at the Westin but was down at BUOY HOUSE for many things , including the beautiful beach , Isla Blue restaurant, pool, Salt shack. EVERYONE was wonderful, food was great , lovedddddd that beach, my favorite of STT. Our waitress in Isla Blue ( she moved here a year ago from OH) was wonderful. SPECIAL MENTION TO WENDY AT THE POOL. He went above and beyond to make our 40th wedding anniversary vacation very comfortable and enjoyable at the pool. WE so appreciated his hospitality, please give that guy a raise!!!!! Everything down at Buoy House was great , we certainly hope to come back soon. ( we’re sorry we can’t remember waitress at Isla Blue name but she was fabulous).

Amazing!!! Rhael, our breakfast waitress, and Wendy, the attendant by the pool, helped us every day and made my birthday and our entire trip so wonderful!!!! The service could not of been better & the location was breathtaking. We stayed there 5 nights and could not of been happier!

Nathaly at the Salt Shack made our first meal experience at the Buoy House a memorable one! The food was great, but Nathaly treated us like we’ve been friends for years! Look forward to starting our days with Nathaly and the salt shack team again! Thank you -the Lavin’s

I have been here before. This is my second visit. I’m already planning my 3rd visit now. This resort is by far the best I’ve ever been to, and that includes my trips to Sugar Beach. The reason why, is that it is Smaller and more intimate. I can be steps from the beach. My room literally looks over the beach and room service is so easy. We do breakfast each morning in the room. The pool supervisor, Wendy, is a great guy. He took care of us and went above and beyond. Our kids were taken care of, and he provided exceptional service. That is what we pay for staying here. Like I said, trip #3 is already being planned. I’ll have it booked before I leave here for the week. Thank you Buoy Haus!
