Holiday Inn Express & Suites Spring Hill

The staff at this hotel were very friendly. But there were issues with the room. They were in the process of replacing the tvs so our tv was a small 32” that sat on the desk. You could not see it from the sofa or the bed. We paid for a suite so we could sit on the sofa and see the tv. The bathroom had black something towards the floor. We were not sure if it was mold or mildew. If you wanted to shower in the afternoon, you had to turn the shower on to hot 10 minutes prior to have hot water as the water heaters were turned down during the day They offered to move us but the tv and hot water situation would have remained the same and we were unpacked for a 3 day stay.. The hotel should be aware of their maintenance issues…it should not be our responsibility to monitor their maintenance issues. We felt at $200.00 per night, that it was overpriced for the value.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn Express in Spring Hill after a 3.5 hour drive from south of Fort Myers as part of our trip to Crystal River to see manatees. The hotel is spotless, our room was spacious and looked recently remodeled, and breakfast was varied and tasty...the bagged breakfasts of COVID times are gone, and the breakfasts Holiday Inn Is known for are back!! The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with everything we needed. After our long drive, the shower felt like a spa. Brenda did a great job keeping the room clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay so much, we added another night to be able to see a bit more of the Hernando County sights and also fit in a trip to Tarpon Springs the next day. The hotel is ideally located along busy Hwy 19, but quiet, and convenient to shopping, restaurants and activities. I would definitely stay here again on other trips to the area.

I stayed here on back to back weekends in July and August to run a big bowling tournament across the street, and let me tell you, all the bowlers who stayed here all agreed: the customer service was exceptional, and the rooms looked great. Susan at the front desk, and all the staff I interacted with were so friendly. And the Assistant GM, Jeffrey was very accommodating. I plan to use this hotel next year as one of the "host hotels" for the tournament, as well as another of their properties just a few miles away. The only thing in need is some better landscaping on the rear of the hotel. Other than that, this is probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in within the past 10 years or more. Thanks again for everything!

I am in Spring Hill once and sometimes twice a year I refuse t stay anywhere else. This hotel is in the perfect location. Close to restaurants, movie theater, bowling and stores. It is always clean, beds are comfortable, and the staff is always helpful. Susan is always there when I check in. She is very friendly and makes the check in process seamless. The breakfast choices are plentiful.

Great Hotel! Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and quiet. No complaints at all. Eating area was clean and large. Easy to find, as well. Area seemed okay, but I probably wouldn’t walk around. price was reasonable for my needs.

The front desk clerk, Sophia was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean, but needs an update badly. The worst part of our stay was the smell in the room. When A/C was on, it smelled like dirty socks or a dirty diaper. It was so disgusting, we didn’t run ac much and it was in 80’s. We mentioned it to the GM Ryan as we were checking out and he told us that couldn’t be bc they just cleaned them. Perhaps he could get off his high wide stool and go check it out for himself. Not impressed with manager or his response. Well run and poorly run businesses start at the top.
