Royal Houseboat is situated in Srinagar, city is lying on the banks of beautiful Jhelum River, is a place which truly symbolizes beauty and romance and is rightly known as the Venice of the East. Srinagar's houseboats are associated closely with the Kashmir valley's culture and traditions. Dating back to the British rule, houseboats became home to these people after they were denied land grants in the state. A brilliant idea that started from constructing small boats was later revolutionized with transforming these boats into spacious modern styled floating hotels. Houseboats are all made of the finest cedar wood that follows with intricate walnut woodcarvings, paneled walls, and tiled baths. Property is located at the distance of 14.9 km from Srinagar Railway Station, 10.2 km from Nishat Baugh-Garden, 9.1 km from Byepass Chowk Bus Stop and 14.9 km from Srinagar International Airport. In the middle of the grand Dal Lake from where the view of the mighty Himalaya is exuberant, hotel features front desk, housekeeping, laundry, sightseeing, travel assistance, ticket booking, power-backup, Wi-Fi, and doctor on call service in case of any medical emergency. It also have a fine dining lounge cum sitting room and a kitchenette where guests can satisfy their taste buds with mouth watering Kashmiri dishes and freshly prepared breakfast. Nice play to stay. Really enjoyed the trip. Locatiob is good. Food was yummy. Must visit place. Place was clean

Bad quality food, electricity cut, tv is not working, did not show any hospitality, we have to carry luggage ourself from small boat to house boat. Moreover food quality is not up to mark. We got dry bread and poha(without vegetables) in breakfast which is very difficult to chew for my parents. We spent 15000 on two rooms but their rooms and environment are worthless. I suggest don't waste money on this.

It was my amusement experience in house boat. I specifically recommend the Royal House boat. Mr Riyaaz was excellent person, food was awesome and staying in boat with kids was my life time experience. So i personally recommend the Royal House boat for Bangladeshi guest as well as others.

Very dirty, very old boat, provide three room in one houseboat , u can hear if ur adjoining room person is snoring or talking on phone, u can’t sleep in night even for few hours as there are house boat in left and and right both side with in 2 meter. Hairs all over pillow and Bedsheet and even on dressing table. Earbuds laying on side table in short room not clean after guest leave and given to next guest. Smelly washroom. Please don’t stay here it will ruin ur whole Srinagar experience just in few seconds.
