我們的房間有七米，很小，很乾凈，在較低的樓層，走廊很窄。上樓的人在房間裏發出很大的噪音。接待人員很熱情。辦理入住和退房都很快。我推薦這家酒店是因為它的位置。我建議其他房間。

A quaint old hotel in central St Andrews. Easy walk to the Old Course and almost directly across the street from the University. No AC in the room, so we kept the window open until bedtime because the students were loud, then used a fan to drown out the noise. The shower lacked water pressure and they have a noisy water pump. My husband carried our luggage up 3 flights of stairs to our room. We enjoyed the fresh cooked breakfast. Our biggest surprise was the parking. They don’t have parking specifically for the hotel, you have to find street parking, which was difficult for us because of a golf tournament. We ended up finding paid parking during the day and moving our car to free parking at night in front of the hotel.

Check in was fine and friendly. I was given room 21 in the basement, but found it to be very cold as I couldn’t get the radiator to work. An engineer came down and fixed it. In the morning the shower didn’t work, and I had to get someone to come down to turn it on, using an electrical switch hidden behind the clothes rail that I would otherwise never have found. I could only get the TV to work after finding it was completely switched off at the mains, hidden behind the set. Infuriatingly I was woken at 4 am by a staff member using the staff room next door. I think the only explanation must be that this room is rarely used though I was told it was used regularly. I’m not sure I believe them. It was exceedingly disappointing and not at all restful. Breakfast was fine.

My favorite hotel in St. Andrews when I visit. It is small, quaint, has a lot of original features; rooms have nice touch of Scotland and have all necessary in the room; hair-drier, coffee and tea selection with biscuits, fresh towels…. Breakfast menu is small and caters to various tastes. I really like recent renovation.

We were given a small (quite small!) room facing the main street but noise wasn't really an issue...Might be hot in the warmer months but we were comfortable in September. The location is amazing and free parking was available right outside the hotel entrance. FYI, there are a lot of stairs as this is a very vertical hotel...Breakfast was lovely in a cute, sunny breakfast room. We had dinner at The Bothy in town-highly recommend! Also note, we were there during the second week of Sept and it coincided (we didn't realize) with "freshers week" at the University so the town was very busy with students and parents:)

Charming Hotel with Timeless Atmosphere
We loved this hotel—it feels like stepping into another era. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore while still feeling tucked away. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A truly memorable experience!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel coud use a little rennovating- but it is in a perfect location and an affordable alternative to the more expensive golf related hotels. Breakfast is simple and pleasant- overall, very good value and would stay again.
