The Dunvegan Hotel

A great stop for a beer in the sunshine. Brilliant staff, excellent house lager and interesting golf memorabilia inside.

I will start with the positives Greeted by staff on entry and shown to a table that needed to be returned by a certain time - no problem as just in for a drink and something to eat Food and drink order taken in a timely manner Good buzz in the bar That is the end of the positives Food arrived and extremely disappointing.Small dry fish with about a third of the fish non existent as it was so crispy no fish left inside the batter and chips cold. My husband had the steak pie and meat dry even with a gravy so barely edible Staff did a check back and I voiced how disappointed I was with the food. No offer of alternative food just that it would be taken away.No offer of speaking to management or refund as clearly most of the food was left on the plate A marked deterioration in food quality/attention to customers I just paid and left - more fool me! Please do not eat here as better more reasonably priced/better quality food elsewhere

The Dunvegan Hotel is fabulous! We loved our time there. The location is perfect, close to the courses, shops, beaches and St Andrews. The people and staff are amazing, so helpful, and so fun. It was lively in the pub area and dinner at the Claret Jug was great. Absolutely a place I'd recommend for repeat visits.

A place to be The bar is a big favorite among locals and worldwide golfers. Old Course right close. Very pleasant and very friendly. "Hotel operations" are run out of the bar. Pleasant and quiet room with single beds (golfers' pref, i'm sure) with updated bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Free parking for rental in public lot nearby.

Very kind staff. Beds are very comfortable and it’s nice having the restaurant/pub downstairs. Would most definitely stay here again!
