Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge

Nothing that I write can ever describe the luxury, the expertise of the guides and the truly wonderful experience that our three night stay here gave us as a three generation family. Exceptional views from our windows and balconies each morning. Great game drives with knowledgeable and empathetic guides. An excellent individual bush walk, again with a knowledgeable guide. And to top it all first class catering and magnificently friendly service throughout. We saw lions, elephants, rhinoceros, water buffalo, zebra, warthogs, giraffes and zebra as well as countless types of deer/antelopes. In many cases we were so close that we could have reached out and touched them had it been the correct thing to do. On top of that we saw some amazing bird life and sat in the open just listening to the sound of the birds calling each other. A truly magnificent experience which we will never forget.

We were really spoiled at Rhino Ridge Lodge! The drive from the gate takes an hour with spotting of rhino's, elephants and more. After a steep climb, we were welcomed by the friendly staff and either a magnificent view over the valley. A sumptuous lunch followed by a safari drive with more animal encounters. The villa's are large and luxurious and staff professional and friendly. We would love to come back!

Lodge ist schön gelegen aber man bekommt von der schönen Lage nicht viel mit, da leider zu viel Gebüsch und Bäume die Fernsicht verhindern (sowohl im Hotel als auch auf der Zimmerterrasse). Kein Fernseher und kein WLAN im Zimmer. Angebotene Gamedrive ist gut. Essen sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten uns im Geiste von der gesamten Lodge mehr erwartet.

Hervorragende Unterkunft. Luxus pur bei den Safari Tours. Super freundliches Person, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen war hervorragend von Morgens bis Abends, mit leckeren Drinks dazu. Die Zimmer war top ausgestattet und hatten auch alle Klimaanlage. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The views from our villa (room), from the pool deck, the lunch/dinner area is great. There was a sense of peacefulness that I really appreciated. The food was also very good. The staff were friendly and very professional. About the safari, you get to see different types of animals living their lives in their natural environment and that was a nice experience.

Wonderful experience at Rhino Ridge. The accommodation ,the food, the people and game drives were excellent. I hated to leave.
