Another visit to Guernsey and the La Barbarie. Lovely break and lovely hotel. Great food and service as usual! The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Will go back again.

We have been at La Barbarie for nearly a week and have had a wonderful time. Our room is a perfect size, has all the necessities we need, and is kept perfectly clean by the team every morning. The pool and poolside are very pleasant; by day and evening. The team here have been so kind and helpful, even helping us track down a missing package that was delivered to a different hotel by the post - thanks Sally!! We have had a fantastic trip and look forward to coming back.

From the moment I walked through the door of this absolute gem of a hotel to the moment I left I was treated like a queen! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are friendly, courteous, respectful and efficient. Everything is excellent about La Barberie. The staff are its prize asset followed closely by the excellent food and drink offering, the cleanliness, comfort and overall atmosphere. The hotel is in a quiet, tranquil location with plenty of parking available, a regular bus service and ideal for those who like a picturesque walk of which there are many. The bedrooms are well appointed, spacious, airy and have air conditioning which is a major plus point for me. I just can’t get enough of this fabulous hotel!!

We have stayed as an extended family several times over the last few years, and are always made most welcome. Teenagers, parents and grandparents are all happy to sample the great breakfast, and the wonderful location. La Barbarie is a very nice base from which to explore the beautiful island of Guernsey

We recently enjoyed a great stay at the La Barbarie Hotel in Guernsey. It is a genuinely lovely, welcoming place. While the accommodation itself is comfortable, charming and very clean, the team's service truly stands out. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. The restaurant deserves high praise as well; the food was excellent and of a consistently high quality. In particular we'd particularly like to mention Purity, our waitress, who provided wonderful service during our meals. We highly recommend La Barbarie Hotel and look forward to returning!

Excellent Tennerfest break. Large spacious room, lovely bathroom with both bath and walk in shower. As usual the food was spectacular, breakfast was well cooked and nicely presented. We ate twice in the restaurant of an evening, everything we had was so tasty, I especially loved the idea of the mini desserts with coffee, I do like a pud but often don’t have room for one, so this is a nice compromise. All the staff are so pleasant and friendly and also very efficient, nothing is too much trouble, they are always smiling, sign of a happy crew. All in all a wonderful short break, couldn’t fault it

Very hard to find any fault with this hotel. Staff were friendly and professional. Excellent dining at breakfast and dinner. Spacious and comfortable room. Peaceful location with handy bus stop right outside the hotel. Lovely cliff top walks close by.

This was our third visit to La Barbarie this year and we have visited several times over the past few years. As usual this hotel didn’t disappoint. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were furnished beautifully and spotlessly clean. The food was excellent and such a great choice on the menu. Can’t wait to go back again next year.
