Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux

Clean, beautiful, environment and Vila, but except this nothing worths. Don't go there for more than 2,3 days, otherwise will be bored to death. No good for baby pram, as there's lots of stairs, to buy a coffee need to go half kilometer to the camping bar or to make it yourself in your kitchen. It's overpriced by all means!

Fort this budget, you can get much nicer houses with cleaning on a daily basis... Avaton desperatly misses a restaurant (and if you make one please keep it simple!). If you order from the restaurant located miles away in Oranopouli, you'd better like cold dishes. Moreover this "room service" is expensive. Avoid rooms with private pool, only one offers a decent size (Room 101). Too bad, this wasn't our suite, so even my 4&6 years kids weren't using the so called pool, which is rather a big bath tub... Prices of the minibar were as high as in a 5*hotel in New York or Paris... And at this rate, asking 2€ for every small bottle of water placed in the room is just unbelievable! Otherwise there are some great points : rooms are fine, the site is amazing (water is crazy, really nice beach) Again, the absence of restaurant is a terrible painpoint, we had to go to the nearby camping to have lunch, and there the experience wasn't unforgettable! For 650€/night, I'll make sure next time to rent a fantastic house elsewhere, as once more the level of service offered in Avaton is ridiculously poor. Today Avaton really makes me think of a big cash machine, employing underpaid trainees for almost everything (beach service, house cleaning, reception). Really a shame

We first went to Avaton back in August and fell in love with the resort’s charm and the staff. Everything about the place was very well thought out and stunning. We loved it so much and couldn’t wait to go back in October where we celebrated our wedding with all our closest friends and family to share with them the experience that we had. The wedding was a success and I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to consider having their wedding at Avaton because not only will you be blown away by the beauty of the resort and breathless views, but you will also fall in love with the most amazing and friendliest staff ever!!

My stay at Avaton in Greece was truly exceptional! Settled in a stunning location overlooking the sea, the villa offered a serene escape with breathtaking views at every turn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel warmly welcomed, going above and beyond to ensure my experience was special. The accommodations were beautifully designed, with modern elegance and comfort in mind. I stayed in a suite where the attention to detail, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities, made it clear that guest comfort was a top priority. One of the things I loved most was the peaceful ambiance. The surroundings felt so tranquil, and with access to the beach just steps away. If you're looking for a luxurious yet relaxing Greek getaway, Avaton Luxury Hotel & Villas is an excellent choice. I can't wait to return and experience it all over again!

Receptionist manager a young gentleman was very rude and unprofessional he ruined our family vacations!

Die Lage des Hotels ist in einer kleinen Bucht, die über das Örtchen Nea Roda erreicht wird. Etwas abgelegen, kaum weitere Hotels, keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Mietauto empfohlen, sowohl für den Transfer von Thessaloniki, als auch zum Herumfahren. Man kann auf den asphaltierten Straßen gut fahren. Eventuell zu Fuß für absolute Naturfreaks interessant, einige Hyänen jaulen in der Nacht, hier etwas Vorsicht, die Hunde am Strand zeigten sich uns gegenüber freundlich. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich sowie der weitere Service, den wir oft in Anspruch nahmen sehr gut. Zimmer320 war zwar klein aber zweckmäßig und dennoch elegant eingerichtet. Der Kleiderschrank war leider nicht gut konzipiert, d.h. keine Fächer für Ablage und zu kurz für lange Kleider. Den Inhalt der Minibar (alles zu teuer) haben wir entfernen lassen und eigene Getränke hineingestellt. Guter Schutz durch die Schiebetür gegen Moskitos. Seitlicher Meerblick weit entfernt. Die Zimmerbereiche liegen überwiegend auf einem kleinen Hügel, so auch unser Raum 320. Da meine Frau nicht gut zu Fuß laufen konnte, wurde sie mit dem ElektroCar, Golfcar befördert. Das funktioniert nach jeweiliger telefonischer Anforderung sehr gut. Restaurant: Man sitzt in kleinen Glaspavillons mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Wir hatten HP gebucht. Das war sehr opulent, wir haben beide Gewicht zugelegt, da das Essen - sowohl Frühstück als auch am Abend jeweils köstlich war. Man muss fragen, was in der HP inklusive ist bzw. die Speisenkarte signalisiert evtl. Aufpreise. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, das Personal sehr aufmerksam, speziell Restaurantchef Yanis ging auch auf Sonderwünsche ein und wir fühlten uns von ihm gut umsorgt. Leider sind die Getränkepreise sehr teuer, Glas Wein 125 ml ca. 15 Euro, Fl. Wasser 6 Euro. Die Tagesempfehlungen - sehr gute regionale Küche - waren oft schon um 19:00 Uhr vergriffen, so dass die gewöhnliche Speisekarte bemüht wurde, die bietet aber einige schmackhafte Gerichte (Calamares bevorzugt). Es wird viel Wert auf französische Küche, weniger griechische Küche (hier jedoch: beste regionale Produkte wie z.B. spezielles Olivenöl, Honig etc.) gelegt. Strand/Liegen: Es kam nie zu einem Liegenengpass, man musste nicht reservieren. Die Liegenauflagen waren sehr bequem, manchmal am Morgen feucht. Der Service am Strand war sehr gut, Kids-Versorgung/-Betreuung, gute Duschen und Toiletten, Liegen und Strand wurden perfekt aufbereitet. Man geht flach perfekt ins Wasser hinein, hier im Sept.ca. 26 bis 27 Grad, sandig, wenig Wellen. Spazieren am Strand ca. 400 m gut möglich. Für uns ein Hotel richtig zum Wohlfühlen und Erholen, auch für Verliebte, wir kommen gerne wieder.
