During a weekend when around 5000 folks crowded into town for a special event, and other properties were at or near capacity, and asking $150-350 per night, one had to ask why there was availability here, and at the very reasonable price of $66. That was red flag #1. Upon driving onto the property, just a block from a very busy highway, one is at first amazed at the size of this place, and then amazed that so few vehicles are in the parking areas. Red flag #2. Then the front desk clerk, new, confused. Having trouble figuring out what room is available. How could that be? There are obviously so many empty. Red flag #3 And seeing not only a sign, but getting an offer from the owner of 20 years, to buy the hotel. Really? Red flag #4. Then the owner asks not just for a review, but to give "a good review". If you earn it, you shouldn't have to ask. Red flag #5. The condition of the buildings once one gets close enough to examine them. Crumbling concrete, rusting metal, broken fixtures. Red flag #6. The room: lights that don't work, usb charging plugs that don't work, poor TV reception, lack of amenities, feeling that things may not be clean, or have not been washed, AC that does not have working heat, in "heat" setting. Door that can't be secured completely. Red flag #6. Appearance of other staff who can't keep their trousers up, who talk of having come from managing a Hilton property or two, who just got a certificate for some mechanical skill....something doesn't jive here. Red flag #7. No breakfast of any kind. Red flag #8. Yet everyone was pleasant, I slept well, there was little noise, there were no surprises in my billing. For budget-minded travelers, this works. Keep an eye on your surroundings, make sure your vehicle is well-secured.

Horrible place, stay away!! This is a low quality motel with sub par room. Pathway leading upto the room was dirty. Room had NO chair to sit and work. I had to be there for graduation ceremony and i booked for two nights thinking i could work after attending the ceremony, but no chair to sit next to the desk. Bathroom looked dilapidated. I had to leave after the first night. But there was no front desk to return the key. Door to the lobby was closed. I had no idea how to checkout. I called the hotel number and someone instructed how to return the key. I asked for a refund for the one night as i was leaving early, but i was denied. Hope they take that money to improve something. What a rip off this place is. Stay away from it. It also felt very unsafe. Pillows were so firm and thick that i got neck pain after one night. Never staying here, ever!

Friendly hotel The manager went out of his way to find me a room, despite every hotel in town being booked solid. It is rare to find service like that anywhere at any hotel
