Great hotel. Staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable. The location is central, just be mindful of the junkies outside. Not all will agree but there are too many pot heads in the smoking area that give this skunk smell outside. And I didn't appreciate that we couldn't access the balcony, apparently to 'protect' residents from the noise(??). Now this is weird, allowing ***** everywhere but not travellers chatting on balconies. Then do not advertise the balconies maybe?

This Auberge Saintlo Hostel has a very nice location in Montreal nearly the Metro and Downtown. The staffs are very friendly and nice and also nice breakfast every morning.
