I rarely write reviews, but I feel I must write one this time. Gesanghua Hotel has a beautiful and kind proprietress. She is quite young, thoughtful, warm and patient. We just arrived in Lhasa and were not very familiar with the itinerary. Later, we consulted the proprietress to avoid falling into the trap. You can also ask the proprietress to help buy performance tickets and travel packages. There are many discounts after comparison. I am also very satisfied with the arranged room. It is square, clean, with a humidifier, oxygen concentrator, and air conditioner. Every morning, the bright sunshine will shine into the room, making the cool morning warm all of a sudden. Living in a sunny room makes my altitude sickness much better.
The location of the hotel is also very good👍 It is convenient to go out for transportation. It takes a few minutes to walk to Jokhang City, Barkhor Street, and Jokhang Temple. It only takes 10 yuan to take Didi to the Potala Palace.
Warm service, clean room, convenient transportation, we will definitely stay in Gesanghua again next time.

This is my fourth visit to Lhasa. In the past 15 years, except for the time in 2010 when I stayed at the Bazaar Hotel on Linkuo East Road (which has long been demolished), I stayed at Pingcuo in 2019, 2023, and 2025. I am already familiar with it, with a good location and clean rooms. It is also friendly to middle-aged people, unlike some city youth hostels that refuse people over 35. Some people who stay in youth hostels may just be afraid of staying in a hotel alone, afraid to the point of not being able to sleep well all night, like me.

Highly recommend this store, just next to Barkhor Street, convenient travel, clean and tidy rooms, tall bathroom supplies, the open-air garden on the roof can see the Potala Palace, the hotel owner and the little brother in the store are very kind, I stayed for five days, On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, we also prepared fruit and moon cakes for us. I abducted my ankle while playing outside. The boss bought Yunnan Baiyao from his pocket and helped me apply the medicine. I was afraid that the medicine on my feet would stain the bedding. I dare not put the injured feet on the bed and put my feet with a stool. The boss came and saw that he moved the stool directly, saying that it was uncomfortable to put his feet on the bed, and let me put my feet on the bed. If the bedding was dirty, I would wash it. It doesn't matter, let me rest well. When I arrived at dinner time, I ran to ask if I was hungry or not. I wanted to help buy food. He took care of me like a family. I was so touched. I will stay at his house next time I go to Tibet. I wish their business is booming.

The bathtub room has a view of the Potala Palace! Very comfortable. Very cost-effective and can be lived in for a long time. The staff in the store are polite and thoughtful. I spent a very happy few days.
There is also a parking lot in the hotel. It is the first choice for self-driving. I saw a couple of guests with a very cute puppy. It is a caring hotel!

GGuest User這家客棧綜合來説很不錯啦，交通位置很便利，對面就是有名的扎基寺，去布宮八廓街打車都是10幾塊就到了，去醫院也近做核酸方便。其次是衞生條件很好，乾乾淨淨的女生也可放心入住。老闆和大叔人都很好可以提供很多出行建議，最後要表揚一下大叔做的飯，乾淨又好吃😋

GGuest UserThis youth hostel has non-smoking rooms. It's like a small courtyard with a patio, which is warm in winter. The owner and the front desk are very friendly. I borrowed a toothbrush charging cable from the owner. I went to the Potala Palace the next day and had severe altitude sickness. The owner equipped my room with an oxygen cylinder. I traveled in the off-season, and I was the only one in a room with 3 beds. The location is within 10 to 20 minutes' walk to the Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, and the Potala Palace. I highly recommend this youth hostel

The transportation is very convenient, and the bus stop is nearby. You can walk to the Jokhang Temple. The Balangfang Pedestrian Street is at the top of the main road across the alley. It only takes 15 to 20 minutes to visit the Potala Palace. The hotel is decorated in ******* style, with a deep and rich ethnic atmosphere. We stayed there for two nights.

This trip to Namcuo is worthwhile. The sky is clear and the Namcuo is beautiful. It is like a fairyland and paradise. It is simply intoxicating.
