Old hotel but the cleanliness was good. Room was quite good for the price that I paid. Only downside was the parking at the basement without lift. It's a bit troublesome for an old man or disable person to use staircase to the lobby. Air condition was superb. Bath towel was a good quality but without hand and face towel. 1 unit of hotel lift under constructions and the drilling noise start at 10.00am.

The hotel is newly launched and so the room and the environment is clean and nice. The room we stayed in is a twin bedroom it has all the necessary amenities including a mini fridge, mini safe and a hair dry blower. The room despite its very small size amazingly fits in a sofa bed as well. Some of the facilities including the games room are not functioning yet, but it has a pool and a 24 hour gym. The hotel is located very near to the many famous restaurants and hawker stalls such as Ipoh Tong Shui Kai and Dim Sum shops and a 5min walk to a shopping complex, hence makes it very convenient to find good food and shopping. Overall it is a good stay and I would recommend it to others for a short staycation in Ipoh. Psst, the welcome lounge has a free coffee machine 24/7 for the guests, which it's totally awesome!

Location is good , average 6 mins to Ipoh parade and to city center. It has own basement car park . Room is spacious , bed is ok. Breakfast variety is average. No bottle water provided in room but there is water jug and water machine at each floor. The minus part is the bathroom. No flexible hand held shower head . No door for shower screen. I wonder how the housekeeping clean the bathroom and shower screen and tiles if the only shower head is not removable. Use towel? That's disgusting . And the rooms facing main road is too noisy. Woken up by the early morning traffic.

The hotel has a modern and stylish design, with a clean and welcoming entrance. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is also convenient, close to local eateries and attractions.

PROS: Great location, close to lots of eateries (within walking distance). Helpful staff deliver requested items promptly. Returned my cash deposit within 10 minutes I checked out (they needed to send someone up to the suite to do an inspection before the deposit could be returned). Lots of free parking in the building. Very new and clean facility with nice size swimming pool and gym. Rooms are spacious and have a clean kitchen + clean kitchenware, and a washer (but no washing powder). CONS: Cars enthusiasts park their cars beside the building on Saturdays, playing really loud music that can be heard in your suite (even on 13th floor) until 3am!! The hotel operates by sharing space with the owner of residential units. On the same floor, you may see some units' doors have different style of lock. So, the building is like a regular apartment. The hallway is not carpeted, When people dragging their luggage in the hallway, it can be loud.

The hotel system did not record that I had paid for breakfast for two people during my two days stay when I do the room booking included breakfast on trip.com website. This caused trouble on the morning when I tried to enter the hotel dining hall. The stewardess stopped me and did not allow me to enter, asking me to wait while she checked with the front desk staff even though I showed her my trip.com booking receipt. The same situation happened again on the following morning when I went for breakfast

The location of the stay is good because it only 10 kins for every location that I want to go from here.

Within walking distance, we found a Chinese restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and even a bar and bistro, offering a variety of dining choices to suit different tastes. Overall, my family and I were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. For the value it offers, Symphony Suites Hotel will undoubtedly be our first choice on our next visit to Ipoh. Highly recommended!
