The Cedar Lodge is a cozy, updated vintage cottage with remarkable views of Lake Superior. Across the road is a private beach along with an extra-wide, permanent dock on lake Superior that provides a perfect place to relax and play on a sandy beach. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin is ideal for up to 4 guests. The kitchen comes with microwave and dishwasher and is well-stocked, including cookware, utensils, and spices outside a gas grill and charcoal grill (please bring your charcoal and lighter fluid). There is a screen porch with rocking chairs along with a large expansive deck. A wood-burning fireplace anchors the main room with a stack of dry firewood provided stacked next to the shed. A TV with premium cable channels is on-site along with highspeed WIFI and a landline phone.The cabin is 3 miles from the town of LaPointe, where you'll find a coffee shop, restaurants, bars, ice cream, groceries, and souvenir shopping. Your rental unit is located on the second floor and has a deck to enjoy morning coffee a cocktail or just to soak in the scenery. There is additional common space that can be enjoyed as well. This includes a massive deck with plenty of seating and tables to enjoy additional views or company if you so chose. We have created a bbq and beer garden as well. Use one of the grills and courtyard area for wonderful meal outside. The hotel room has a queen bed and a private bathroom. Please note that the max guests allowed is 2. If you exceed the max amount we may ask you to leave the property and no refund will be provided. Note that the hotel unit has a microwave but no dishes or cookware with it. We also provide a standard drip coffee maker, but if you prefer there is a coffee shop, and stores within a short walk of your unit. We provide coffee pot filters and coffee cups. Please bring your own ground coffee and any other fixings you like. The Bell Street Lodging was constructed with concrete forms. The concrete forms offer a quiet sanctuary within your space. Or step outside and walk a 100 yards to Tom's Burned Down Cafe. Tom's is an island music oasis. Not to mention spectacular for people watching. Enjoy a short walk to the Beach Club for a sunset view and refreshment. Your family could enjoy Grampa Tony's also within 100 yards of your stay. If you enjoy the convenience of staying close to the action this is the accommodation for you. One flight of stairs, unpack and park your car for the rest of your stay if you chose.
