On weekends, I took my parents to Zhenjiang to travel and stayed at the Shuxiang Mansion Hotel. This hotel is located in Xijindu, the historical ancient street of Zhenjiang, very close to the famous ”three mountains” (Jinshan, Jiaoshan, Beigushan), and it is very convenient to travel. The rooms of the Shuxiang Mansion Hotel are distributed in Bao's Qianzhuang and Yuntai Building built during the Republic of China. Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course ”Lemon and Herb Chicken” should have been listed as ”Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones”!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Completely undrinkable. Opened, poured a small amount to taste, spoilt. It happens, sadly! Would be a good idea to open the wine to test before serving

This is the second time I stayed at Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang. I still feel very good. First, I received a warm reception from the front desk manager Tom Liu.
