We stayed here at either end of our trip to Georgia and South Carolina. Marvin and Anita couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. A taste of real southern hospitality. The room was very comfortable and clean. The facilities were excellent - we especially loved the pagoda seating at the lake edge. Breakfast was made to order and we enjoyed the chef's cooked breakfast on two occasions. A 'grab and go' basket was supplied on the day we needed to leave early. Highly recommended. Marvin and Anita were spectacular. The home was lovely and they provided everything we needed. This is the best bed and breakfast we have ever been to. The attention to our needs and comfort of the home will have us return again. Highly recommend.

This was me and my wife’s second visit to Stockbridge Lakes Bed & Breakfast, and this time we brought our two sons 9 and 16 along with us. They fell in love with the atmosphere of the bed and breakfast, and most of all they fell in love with the innkeepers just as we did. Everything we requested was professionally handled from the top notch traditional breakfast to the horseback riding as well as the quality time that was spent fishing on the property with our innkeeper, Mr. Marvin. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast, whether it will be an overnight stay or an extended stay. You will not be disappointed!

Innkeepers Anita and Marvin are exceptionally warm and welcoming. The property is charming, and beautifully located on its own private lake, with fish and many turtles. Join Marvin for the daily fish feedings, or cruise around the lake on the paddle boat!

Marvin and Anita make you feel like you are at home away from home. The B&B has a very New England countryside feel. The leaves had changed color for the fall. The food was amazing. Chef cooks an amazing meal. The lake and outdoor patio were relaxing. I managed to fish for a few minutes and caught a couple bass. Can't say enough how welcoming and hospitable everyone is at the B&B.

My husband and I came for my 65th birthday from October 2-5, 2024. It was such an amazing experience, and the service was excellent! We received a very friendly welcome and a tour. The house was decorated beautifully, comfortably, and very clean. I came across your Bed and Breakfast in an article on the web, so we decided to try it. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Everything was beautiful, my room (Southern Living Suite (king), the house, the grounds and the lake. We spent a lot of time on the front porch in the rocking chairs. We enjoyed our hot basket breakfast. I was a little hesitant because I had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before. Believe me this stay took away all my doubts. I am very glad I chose Stockbridge Lakes Bed and Breakfast, and we plan to return in the future. The owners were very, very nice, friendly and hospitable. -John & Faye Mitchell

Very nice property, super clean, and welcoming, comfortable spaces. Superior hospitality by the owners. I’ve had some mighty big special requests before and Marvin and Anita always make it happen. When I’m in the Stockbridge, GA area I never stay anywhere else.

Best stay ever! The B&B is super cute and charming. The bedding was so comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was yummy and the staff engaging. We will definitely visit again. The ground are very nice. So close within walking distance to the Stockbridge Amphitheater.
