Storms River ist ein "Touri-Ort" mit "Tour-Infrastruktur". Das örtliche "Diner" ist eher schlecht. Jedoch taugt der Ort und das At the Woods sicher für einen Stop im Garden Rote Natinal Park. Wir kommen spät Nachmittags an, werden freundlich empfangen und erhalten unser Zimmer. Wir fühlen uns Willkommen. Leider ist das Zimmer eher nur Mittelmaß. Der Fußboden im Bad klebt (was dem verlegten Stein geschuldet ist) und die Balkontür lässt sich nicht abschließen. Das Frühstück und Abendessen machen diesen Umstand zwar wett, wir würden beim zweiten mal aber mal ein anderes Hotel ausprobieren.

Wonderful rustic venue

Probably the best property in Storms River Village - well appointed and clean. The staff were all very friendly. There is a lovely lounge area just off the breakfast area where you can lounge at night and make use of the honesty bar. Storms River Village has limited eateries but I recommend trying Kosi Corner for some authentic food with very friendly people, it's in the township, we walked but you might prefer to go by car and during daylight hours.

Amazing guesthouse located in the walking distance from all the major cafes/shops of Tsitsikamma. The personnel was friendly, the room - spacious, comfy and welcoming, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was nice, and we were able to spend an evening with a glass of wine while comfortably sitting there. The breakfast was good and fit to keep you full for at least a few good hours. We also tried an onsite restaurant (located in the next building) - nice pies and good selection of wine. Finally, the massage service arranged by the hotel is indeed nice and relaxing - what a treat to start you vacation with! The only downside: somewhat weirdly, there was no shower gel in the bathroom. It was very strange, because there was ample supply of all other toiletries...

We so enjoyed our quick one-night stay! The staff was quite welcoming and so warm. The room was wonderfully decorated and perfect for two of us with a little sitting patio. The location is ideal for visiting the National Park or just exploring the small town. The food at the convenient cafe next door is delicious. We even were able to light a fire in the upstairs living room and enjoy wine with other guests. I highly recommend At The Woods Guest House!

Guest house molto accogliente, pulita e ben tenuta. La stanza aveva il riscaldamento e dotata di tutti i comfort. La colazione si serve in una stanza attigua, semplice ma gustosa. Si preparano omelette e uova strapazzate al momento. C’è possibilità di parcheggio non custodito. Tutto ci è sembrato molto accogliente c’era il parquet e il camino nelle zone comuni.

Heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Wij waren er met ons gezin twee nachten. Het is een sfeervolle locatie die mooi ingericht is. Heerlijke zitjes op terras bij je kamer, de lounge of bij het zwembad. Prima ontbijt. Fijn dat we ook gebruik konden maken van de wasservice. We hebben twee avonden gegeten bij het aangrenzende Tsitrus Café; heerlijk, sfeervol en leuk geprijsd. Deze locatie is echt een aanrader voor Stormsrivier. Stormsrivier is zelf maar heel klein, maar op kleine afstand is heel veel te zien en te doen.
