I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at Strawberry Inn Restaurant, and I feel obligated to share it to warn others. We placed an order for pizza and coffee at 6:15 PM and waited for over two hours — until 8:15 PM — with nothing served. I checked with staff multiple times, and all I got were vague responses like “you’ll be notified via the buzzer.” No follow-up, no food. When I finally spoke to another staff member, her response was shockingly dismissive. She claimed the internet wasn’t working, so they couldn’t see our order — yet somehow they were still taking and serving orders from others who arrived much later. It was clear our order had been misplaced, and instead of taking responsibility, the staff kept making excuses. To make things worse, I was told that the chef got angry and was now refusing to cook for anyone. Excuse me? What kind of establishment tells paying customers that the chef is having a tantrum and won’t make their food? Not a single server or the cashier took responsibility. I had my 2-year-old child with me, and no one showed the slightest concern or accountability. We asked for a refund, and even then the cashier tried to avoid us, acting like it wasn’t her problem. To be honest, I will do everything I can to hold this place accountable. No family or customer deserves to be treated this way. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service is beyond unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.
