El Patio Inn - Near Universal Studios Hollywood ★★

The Garland ★★★★

"The room is clean, it is convenient to eat, there is a large supermarket around, about 10 minutes walk, it is very convenient to go to Universal Studios, there is a hotel shuttle"

Studio City Court Yard Hotel ★★

"It's conveniently located near Universal Studios. However, the hotel is situated on a street corner, making it very noisy to sleep; I often hear police sirens."

Blvd Hotel and Studios Universal-Hollywood, Ascend Hotel Collection ★★★

"Excellent distance to Universal Studios. Not the best location so try not to walk at night. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were so. Phone didn't work and drain in shower didn't drain when we first got there. Kinda dark in the room.

Carlton Motor lodge ★★

Zen Villa @ Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles by Universal Studio ★★★★

Nite Inn at Universal City - Walking Distance to Universal Studios Hollywood ★★

"The motel was easy walking distance to Universal studios, in fact we figured out on our 2nd day that there was a free Universal studios shuttle at the base of the hill that leads up to universal. The room was basic but did have a mini fridge that was nice for sandwich stuff and drinks. They provided free coffee and a small assortment of pastries for a breakfast snack. Free ice was available in the office as well. For a family on a budget it was worth the stay."
