Luxury Lakehouse - Private Dock & Small Beach, Kayaks, and Fire Pit Near Acadia.

Beautiful home, inside and out. Loved being right on the quiet lake for boating, swimming, fishing and kayaking. So relaxing. The home is very spacious for our three families with young kids to enjoy different areas. Kitchen is really well equipped, grilling on the balcony and fire pit outside was a big plus too. The home is remote and we loved it - but folks that want to be in the bustle of bar harbor, it’s an hour drive if you really want to check it out. We did a few hikes on MDI but our favorite was the sunrise hike behind the house up schoodic mountain. It’s also a nice base to explore the other parts of Acadia. No regrets whatsoever for not staying on MDI. This house is one of our favorite stays. Thank you Barbara - also for being super responsive and awesome host!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful, meticulous home. We had more than enough room for our party of six adults. We loved the peaceful setting and loved sitting out on the screened in deck, fishing from the dock and having use of the kayaks. The kitchen was well organized and well stocked. And the star gazing was incredible. Highly recommend this home.

Great Location and House - As Advertised The house is a real gem tucked in a remote area with a nice dock and ready access to the beautiful lake. Also close to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but away from the crowds. Great host and communnications.

Perfect lakeside getaway! We were looking for a place to just relax for a few days and checkout nearby attractions like Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, along with a friend's family. We liked the pictures in the listing, but this house was even better in person! Whoever designed and decorated the place really did a great job, and the host has put in a lot of though with all the furnishings and making sure that guests have a comfortable stay here. It's a really good size house and perfect location on a lake to just hangout and go boating / kayaking, or grill on the deck and spend time with family and friends. The host was super responsive with all the questions I had prior to the trip and even during. Our kids really liked our stay there and are already asking to return there next year - so we hope to do a repeat in the future! I highly recommend this.
