A recently renovated campground in Lake Panasoffkee, Idlewild Lodge and RV Park offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. At the campground, each unit is fitted with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a kitchenette, a dining area and a private bathroom with a hair dryer, a shower and free toiletries. A patio with an outdoor dining area and lake views is offered in some units. At the campground, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. For those times when you'd rather not dine out, you can choose to cook on the barbecue. Guests at the campground will be able to enjoy activities in and around Lake Panasoffkee, like fishing. In addition to a year-round outdoor pool, Idlewild Lodge and RV Park also offers outdoor play equipment and shared lounge.

Came here to meet up with friends for the weekend and found this gem. Everything about this place is done well. The cabins are clean and nicely updated. The pool area is laid out well and clean. The cantina had good food at reasonable prices. If you want to fish, rent a boat or take an airboat tour it is right there. The RV sites are shaded and there were grills for convenience. Lots of areas to relax and take in the serene environment. Very impressed!

This was stop number 2 in a Spring Break trip for our family. It was very relaxing and inviting. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and were helped with parking our RV. This was the 1st trip in our new rig. We stayed in spot #8 and it has everything you would want to wind down from your hectic life. We brought our two dachshunds who had fun as well. There is plenty of space to roam and explore. Lots of wildlife to learn about and discover. We did not use all that was there but intend to next time, because of course there will be a next time. All in all it was just what we all needed.

We were in a RV Site for 2.5 months and loved our stay. It's so peaceful. We really miss hearing and seeing all the different birds and other wildlife...yes alligators too! The service was great. Any issues were addressed immediately....only one and Emily and Matt were all over it!! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

Stayed at the Lodge for a couple days in the 2 bedroom deluxe. The unit was very clean and spacious. The unit had 2 king sized beds which is a rare find. Each bedroom had their own P-Tac unit (ac/heat)which is awesome and their own TV. The grounds are exceptionally maintained and a nice fire pit is kept going for the recent cold days and nights. The staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Matt even offered to get me and my friend lunch so we could fish longer. The boat ramp is convenient and well maintained as well as the docks which have electric for charging your batteries overnight. Would definitely stay again.

wow what an amazing place, pool lodges are amazing but the real winner is the barn and food, best priced and tastiest food in all America! Barn will pool table and other games all free and free beer on tap 5-6 pm

Ok I dont even know where to begin. This place is like a dream! I'm a single mother and I just stayed a night there with my son. It says alot about a place when you already have a place to stay, however your soul pulls you here and says "stay, stay!" That is exactly what happened and I dont regret it one bit. Shawn is an incredible guy. He is the owner. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. You can swim in the pool, he lights a fire at night, there are a ton of games and hey free beer between certain hours. This is the place you dream of as a kid. Its truly a magical place right out of the picture books. Its Heaven on earth. It is truly Heaven on earth. The price is spot on for what you get, very reasonable, not overpriced at all! If you stay here, take care of this place. Its a hidden gem and we all have to take part in preserving its beauty. The cabins are incredible. I felt every teeny bit of stress leaving my body while here and boy did this single Mom need it! I traveled for a living during much of my life and this is definitely top 3 on the list, if not number one. Oh how I wish we could go back. Definitely next year. Who needs spas when you can have all this. Thank you Shawn. You have created magic here.

Fantastic weekend at Idlewild Lodge. The cabins are modern and impeccably clean. We rented the pontoon and had a fabulous afternoon. In the evenings, we played pool and had giant jenga competitions in the activity barn. The evening fires with relaxing chairs is wonderful. We didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked very nice. The RV park has excellent spaces ; we will come back with our RV. The staff is very accommodating and super nice. Idlewild is a very quiet, relaxing retreat; our new go to for weekend getaways with family and friends.
