Nicki and Amy were really helpful when I went in at 9.30pm to book last-minute due to a missed train. The room was comfortable and the (paid) WiFi was good. A friendly and welcoming place! It’s good to know that the Travelodge will take late walk-ups!

Judith the afternoon receptionist, Angela the manager, Connor the nightshift one and Ellie F the cleaner who cleaned my room were extremely friendly and welcoming!! So central and perfectly clean. Perfect for anything in the city centre.

Okay Hotel for the night. Needed updating a little bit. Somethings in the room were damaged/ cracked, it didn't effect us or our stay just didn't look as nice. Beds were on the firmer side but there were extra pillows. It was mostly clean and tidy and there was a vending machine in the reception entrance which was handy! The staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful!

We had a pleasant stay, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean and had a good shower. It was also nice to have a bath as an option, something that is rare these days.

Be aware if you think you're going to a hotel, more like a hostel for homeless people. I know they need to be housed somewhere, but Travelodge should inform you when booking that they are housing homeless people to full paying customers, not cheap either. Travelodge have said in the past that they have no obligation to inform you, that's their rules, said it before when i complained about illegal immigrants being housed there , but the rules should change and they should inform you so the individual can then make an informed decision whether to book or not. But they just want to take your money upfront and ignore your complaints afterwards.
