The Mrs , I and a friend went to Imperial resort for a 1 week holiday at the end of May into June, this turned out to be a excellent choice. From start to finish at both airports East Midlands and Bourgas the Jet2 staff were brilliant, transfers, area in̈fo etc. On arrival at the hotel around 1pm the reception was very efficient and friendly. We were told rooms not ready till 3pm but they gave us our all inclusive bands and directed us to food and drinks area the told us if rooms ready they would find us, which the did . The rooms were big, with a great bathroom/ shower room. 2 comfy single beds, a sofa, tv, coffee/ tea making facilities, a small fridge, safe and a ample clothes space, also a large balcony with pool/ sea view. There are several eating/ drinking areas, Breakfast had something for everybody, eggs domestic several ways , hot food, cold meats etc. Lunch the same but for a change there was like a fast food area serving burgers, pizza, chips, hotdogs, salads, donuts, waffles and ice creams and theirs a bar there as well. This area was frequented by families mainly and did have ample covered seating areas The evening meal was something different nightly ie themed nights but still salads, cheeses and meats. The dessert section was amazing with numerous guests taking pics of the food. There are 3 pools, 1 shallow indoor pool, 2 outer pools 1 in a quiet area and 1 in a more loud area where a enthusiastic group of young hotel workers did water aerobics and various activities with the guest like pool competitions, darts and archery. There is also a very shallow safe pool for young kids to be entertained with various waterfalls and animal sprays. The hotel is approx 2 miles from sunny bar *****, something for everyone, try the corner bar for food and cocktails great price and taste, this is easily accessible by orange bus around 2 lev or 90p English, a fun ride for the kids would be the road train which is 6 lev or £2.74 English. Be aware if using taxis also confirm a price before using as we were told by a local that some of them try to rip you off, but we had no bother while using taxis. Nessebar is a lovely old town to visit bit is hilly and mainly cobble paths, I was on crutches at the time and not the best surface to try walking on if unsteady on feet. Nessebar olx town as a lot of sea view fish restaurants , bars and monuments for the history buffs a lovely area. As I said we went endMay/ June, if we go again we will probably go a few days into June as this is when the season opens officially and as our week went on more and more places were opening up. 2 mins from hotel is the John Smith's pub which offered a warm welcome, various live turns, bingo, some good money being played for and drinks at a decent price, never tried their food but it looked decent. Note air con didn't kick in until about 3 days into our holiday, this was just not our room it was all hotel so must be set on a hotel timer, we were 4 floors up so just slept
