Kuban Resort & Aquapark - All Inclusive

All inclusive, best thing on the menu were the pancakes at breakfast. We ate out as a family of five was not ideal when paid for all inclusive. Family apartment hmm 1 double room then the other beds consisted of a Z bed a chair that folds out to a bed and a sofa that folds out all extremely uncomfortable. Pool area brilliant for children also a good snack bar that we used daily due to the food in the restaurant. On arrival our towels and bed linen were stained so yet another complaint . I would rate it as a 2 star from my experience staying here .

Hotel food was mediocre at best and the entertainment can only be described as Groundhog Day. Staff seemed to all suffer from depression. Cleaning staff ignored do not disturb signs and letting themselves in the room while we were present and totally ignored our request to leave. After your trip to nearby Nessebar there’s very little to do other than shop or drink.

On arrival you are given very little information just told to take pictures of activity board and restaurant/snack bar times. We had a superior family room. It was very small, beds pushed together. We arrived very late at night, and I noticed there were stains on my bedding and pillow. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the air conditioning in the room was terrible. The light above the mirror was temperamental( luckily, the spot lights worked). The shower was shocking it did not stay up when turned on, so had to hand hold it also the button from the tap to use the shower was stiff. I would suggest taking/buying shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as all you are givin is small sachet ( we only had 3 considering there were 4 of us in the hotel room) The restaurant (was at first) insane so hard to find seating but after a couple of days it became alot easier as the food options were awful. Very repetitive, heated up left over food and very little option for vegetarians. Also be prepared for the cleaner to lean over you while you are eating to clean the floor/wipe the table despite being no mess. One of the waitresses in the restaurant was very rude to me. I ask for cutlery and the waitress responsed by shouting in bulgarian in a very aggressive manner with a frown on her face. Snack bar once again not much options (very limited) but the food was better than the restaurant despite the very small selection. The lifts have cameras inside ( not sure if they are actually monitored) this does not stop kids from misbehaving in the lift ( pressing all buttons and running off or standing inside holding the button so the lift door does not close preventing it going to another level ) or other guest being rude to those who are trying to enter the lift too. Also, A large amount of Ice cream that had melted in the lift not cleaned. Also there is a particular lifeguard that likes to blow his whistle tell kids to move out the way as soon as they come down the waterslide. He must think these kids are flash Gordon!! Very very small entertainment space which is located outside by the pool. The hotel is very outdated and not worth the money. Pros - Good location, animation team & staff in the lobby bar were friendly. The hotel room was clean ( other than the first night with stain bedding) The housekeeper was polite and friendly. Rest of staff were neutral.

So having read reviews, we decided to give it a go, looked fun, lovely water slides, canteen area looked good, with lovely looking food and nice rooms. Well we got put on top floor, lovely view and high enough to not hear all night life, which was loud but it is a holiday resort so will be loud. Close to beach, bars shops, fun fair so is a perfect location. So its a family hotel and during day plenty to wat and drink and staff did their best to entertain everyone. Food was ok, with good choice but no real desert choice. Now the let downs, the dinning area was like a school dining room, just bland and small, no entertainment area in evenings, or bar area to sit down and have a quite drink, bars closed between 10 pm and 11pm, even when sat inside, plastic cups, sorry but wine or beer in plastic cups. everyone appeared to be going out after evening meals. The slides were good fun but guests were diving and jumping in and out of pol with no regard for anyone else, that's an accident waiting to happen The lifts were an nightmare when they worked. Staff were neither friendly or unfriendly, they just did there job. Needs updating and proper bar areas put in. family's with youngish children, who do not like to go out or stay up late will love it (if you can sleep as noisy) but anyone else nope

An honest review 👌. Overall the Hotel is a standard 3 star and Jet 2 also rate it as a 3 star. The rooms are clean, beds are hard, only 1 pillow, does have a fridge, bath and shower. TV there's only 1 channel that's in English. BBC news. The food hall offers plenty to eat. I enjoyed the food. The Aqua park opens from 9am - 6pm after then there's no entertainment available in the hotel. You have to stay in your room or go straight out. Does have a lobby area but no outdoor seating area to relax and enjoy your evening on the all inclusive package drinks.

I have been generous in giving this hotel one star, the actual experience of the Kuban was not great, we upgraded for a suite and due to the upgrade we were gated out of the complex from 18:00-09:00 daily making us walk around for breakfast and dinner, the food was an experience in itself cold, nothing for kids, soggy pasta, mystery fish, chick pea salad with groceries? I'm not a fussy eater but I walked out more than I sat down, my nine year old basically lived on fresh air. The snack bar was pants chips, doughnuts and what other stuff they could make from left overs, the sports bar is basically a bar with some outdated games and pool tables that have seen more balls than Katie Price. The animation crew WOW water volleyball daily that's it, evening mini disco (may I add if you upgraded get walking). The food in local restaurants however is spot on so don't do all inclusive, or even better avoid this hotel as if it was Jimmy Saville (even he couldn't fix it)
