Secrets Sunny Beach Resort and Spa - Premium All Inclusive - Adults Only

Positives first Quick check in Hotel , beach and rooms clean. Don't know if we just had a bad week or reviews are fixed but, No information about menus, reception phone number or what you are entitled to with the preferred club. We got to hotel just after 21.30 so went to restaurant and it's closes at 21.30. Asked reception where we could get something to eat as been travelling all day. Reception said Coco cafe did snacks. Went to Coco cafe and all they had were sandwiches didn't look very nice but was starving. Sandwich bread was like eating sand and cakes would sink if put in water. Main restaurant choice of food is limited, 10 options but 4 are repeated top and bottom and 2 either Bulgarian food and a meat of some sorts. Food in restaurants is warm never hot. Usually struggle one day to find something to eat here only managed to eat decent once. Went to Oceana al la carte and soup was ok but 3 prawns and a blob of mash then tiny square of cake for desert. Ended up going to main restaurant for something else to eat. This hotel has the smallest selection of desert I've I ever encountered. Badly organised restaurant had one day it rained and everybody decided to go to the restaurant and sit inside at same time. The restaurant manager should have like other hotels kept people at the desk whilst he was stood doing nothing and got restaurant staff to let him know when tablets became available rather than loads of people walking around . Restaurant staff and bar staff majority of time just stood together talking. Pool area parasols in need of replacing and lots of floor tiles cracked. This is the first hotel we have not tipped as service was that poor. We will not be returning to this or any Hyatt hotels because Hyatt took over Be live in Tenerife and before Hyatt took over it was a good hotel. For price of holiday you expect luxury but not here Check out is 11am even with preferred club didn't get to keep room on which is awkward with 22.00 hrs flight Informed reception about bed dipping in middle and being rock hard, day 6 mattress was changed and still rock hard

Really lovely hotel, perfect location as you can walk into sunny beach but your far enough away from it, also beach front which is AMAZING , always sunbeds in abundance any time of the day, views from your hotel room are just incredible, food and choice were good but food was a little on the cool side, amazing drink options, place is spotlessly clean , only down side for me which is no big issue but out of 4 rooms we couldn’t even keep one room on but was fine as was told could use spa facilities to have shower as our flight wasn’t till midnight meant we could have another full day on the beach and pool but after being told I could get a hairdryer from reception as there is not one in the spa I went in the sea ect to then be told the only way I could dry my hair was to have it dried in the saloon at a cost the hotel really should talk to the spa as each one was saying different things I know this is only a small thing but at a hotel of this size somewhere to dry your hair if you’ve got a late check out should be provided and looked at, so that’s just a heads up ladies , also a couple of the staff in the dining room were quite rude asked one day if there were any more strawberries which were by the chocolate fountain the member of staff looked me up and down gave me a dirty look and shugged her shoulders and walked off I was a bit took back by this , over all really nice hotel in a perfect location. Another tip if you do go a walk up the ***** and you want to walk in the back gate it shuts at midnight so you have to walk around the front to get back into the hotel.

This hotel is just beautiful,it’s clean, friendly. Food amazing. All staff are so helpful. Looking to rebook for next year. Only thing we couldn’t get a room after we checked out, as a late flight home. We were preferred club too, so did see few be evicted on the side we were. Place has so many sunbeds. So no need to rush. Anytime of day there were beds. All staff were so lovely. Like I said the food was amazing . Went into the two restaurants . This was just amazing food and service. Lovely holiday and definitely booking next year . P.S. my friends recommended this to us, as they went last year. They are going back too.

Ons verblijf in dit hotel was fantastisch. Het eten was heerlijk, met tal van keuzes voor elk wat wils. Het hotel zelf is mooi onderhouden en indrukwekkend qua uitstraling. De ligging is rustig, maar toch op korte afstand van de levendige sfeer van Sunny Beach. Er waren leuke animatieshows in de avond, wat voor extra sfeer zorgde. Het water in het zwembad lijkt niet verwarmd, maar dat is juist een pluspunt bij temperaturen van 35 graden.

Very nice hotel. Very nice location a d private beach. Very clean and well maintained. Staff is mostly nice but there is a language barrier with some of the staff members including receptionists. The spa is not great, I suggest avoid massages. Despite 5 star prices 2 star service at the spa. Rooms are really nice and all have a view. Parking is extra cost despite having a lot of spaces. Some staff, not all, treated me poorly, like they were doing me a favor or making fun. I think the hotel is one of the best choices you can have in the area.

This is a nice hotel with some lovely touches however falls short of it's declared five stars. The hotel is well kept, the food is lovely, the rooms are nice and the staff are all very friendly however it's when you 'upgrade' to Preferred club' that things fall well short of expectations. You get a couple of extra features in tour room such as a clothes steamer & a coffee machine however having used preferred club in other Dreams & Secrets hotels, this one isn't in the same league. The defined areas for Preferred club guests are used by all guests, there is no limitation on who can use the areas apart from the lounge. The areas at poolside & in the restaurant are simply used by whoever chooses this means that the services you have paid extra for, you simply cannot take advantage of as they are over subscribed. The fridges at poolside are restocked at best, once a day so are always empty. The lounge is the biggest let down though. Normally these lounges offer a relaxing area where you can just chill and enjoy a huge range of premium drinks. In this one there we're four optics on a wall and those were regularly empty, rarely replenished. The optics themselves we're downmarket drinks and unlike those on offer in other hotels within the chain. As an example, Dreams Corfu which we visited last year had between thirty & forty assorted spirits and liqueurs compared with this ones four, several beers & lagers vs one which was rarely available. Testament to how poor it was is the fact it rarely had anyone in it & there was no preferred club evening outdoor bar area which other hotels offered. The a 'la carte restaurants are all worth a visit & the general standard of food was very good. All of the staff were super friendly & helpful & the waiting staff in particular just couldn't do enough for you. Would I go back? Actually that's a yes however I wouldn't pay for the preferred club as it's a rip off.
