Hotel Zenith

This hotel would make a brilliant Adults only hotel,because it has not got enough facilities for children.So what i would do to make this perfect hotel No 1. Change the room that they use for the children to play in to a pool bar put some nice chairs and tables in ,and knock a door way in by the gym to get in to it if it rains,and may be a few snacks. No 2. Buy some new chairs and tables outside the old pool bar and burn the the old ones LOL No 3. Buy some pads for the sun beds this is a must. No 4. Buy some more tables and comfortable chairs for the lobby bar. No 5.Get rid of them stupid plastic cups and buy some plastic ones that they can wash and reuse. No 6. Get the builders back in and do all the snagging repairs before it looks a right mess, you have got 6 months to do it and put it right. And there was a issues with the food towards the end of our holiday,but give credit where due the restaurant manger stepped in and took the bull my the horns and sorted it out well done.Some guest were saying that the bar staff and waiters were rude and miserable and never spoke. We had all our bar staff and waiters talking to us and smiling towards the end of our holiday we always said please and thank you to them.The rooms were cleaned ever day and if you wanted towels changing put them on the floor. Would i return only if they sorted the sunbeds out pool bar and the plastic cups and sitting area. Come on hotel management make this a great hotel you are the only ones that can do it. We have come here ( still here 20/9/24 we are so disappointed, we don’t like to complain but… food is cold to Luke warm , same food every day ( lunch / dinner). Only bar available is in the reception area , extremely uncomfortable, as it is a reception not a relation area. Staff have no interaction and barely smile. We feel like we’re a burden to them ;the whole hotel is winding down ( yes we understand it’s getting to end of season) but we feel very unwelcome. Many guests are taking videos and photos.Such a shame as the room is large and great sea view , so much potential here ; first time lve ever put a review on hope it gets better going forward.

On my last day today 12/9/24 hotel is really nice,had no problems wiv any staff...the food is fine u will definitely find sumthing to eat, it may not be hot but that's all inclusive for u. Not once did we queue for a table all is very organised. The pool is sml and sunbeds are hard plastic....they really need cushions on them. Pool bar is ridiculous it's inside the restaurant 🙄 it really needs to be outside or another part of building, pool seating area is not adequate for amount of people staying this also needs looking at, absolutely need more tables n chairs outside..they also need a canopy over said area as wen it rains there is absolutely no cover n they won't open the bardoors for u to shelter. We had a sml problem wiv our cold water but in fairness to hotel after 4days of trying to fix it they moved us to another room this wasn't a big problem the staff do try n help out. The entertainment girls are fabulous they do a great job wivout being pushy. I am sure these problems will be ironed out ready for nxt yr after all this is their 1st season. So please don't be put off by other reviews as I almost was.

I’ll rate the hotel out of 10,food 6/10 everything else 0/10, it really is that bad, queue for everything, 2 small/ tiny bars to cater for over 600 people , one beer pump and one barman at each bar, if 20 people are in the pool it’s full, don’t not waste you money coming here, stayed in a lot better places in Sunny Beach, more like a jail sentence than a holiday

Further to my review, I have just read the hotels descrption of itself, a load of meaningless twoddle mixed in with sheer lies - there is no greenery or environmental aids at all, just lots and lots of empty planter pots. There is no safe, minibar, or hairdryer in the rooms. The panoramic pool is very small and only open to guests on a certain floor, who book specifically for that floor and pay extra. This is a load of outrageous, mostly meaningless rubbish, the only truthful thing is their contribution to environment by minmising water usage, which is by greatly limiting the hot water and forcing people to have cold showers.

Just back from Zenith, here is honest overview of the hotel. It is most definitly not a 4* hotel as portrayed by Jet2, it’s substandard 3* at best. GOOD POINTS Location, right next to beach Food - good/average, when you can get it Rooms – very nice (except bathroom), beds comfortable, but the studio rooms (3 people) – third person does not get a bed, just a rock hard fold down armchair, futon type, impossible for adult to sleep on, you have to argue the toss with reception to get a mattress sent in, they will say none available but persist, there are some grotty ones that help a little - at £1000 per week, a bed is the least one would expect! BAD POINTS Restaurant – too small for size of hotel, queues most sessions, we ended up eating out several times when they got too bad (at our own expense of course). When you finally get in, more queues for food, the food is actually fairly reasonable. However, try to get in to meals earlyish as food is removed on the dot at the end, no one cares if the queues made you late or not. Bathroom, I can only speak for mine of course (6th floor), which was literally falling to bits. Shower door handle fell off, wall fitting for toilet brush fell to pieces, a sort of access panel fell off wall and hit me on the head as I was on toilet, leaving hole in the wall exposing all the piping. Don’t waste your time complaining, you’ll get nowhere, just live with it. Hot water intermittent, cold showers on some days which actually is not too bad as the weather is so hot. Wallpaper drab brown and peeling especially round edges, I mean to say, who puts wallpaper in a steamy damp bathroom anyway ? Foyer toilets horrible, same peeling wallpaper, no locks on doors, no mirrors, no hand drying facilities, just a row of toilet rolls lined up next to an overflowing bin, very tacky. Snack bar, which is just one end of restaurant roped off with a separate entrance, closed and locked for the 8 hours restaurant is open, plus half hour before and after each session as they need to prepare and afterwards clean up the space as part of the restaurant, so frequent periods during day when there is no food available at all in this all inclusive hotel, and the drinks can only be got from a small lobby bar in reception. Sun loungers basic hard white plastic type, no mattresses, and impossible to get unless you are one of the 6am brigade, which I must admit is pretty normal for these hotels. Notably, in a line of hotels, Zenith is the only one without a private beach area and free sunbeds. Pool area poorly maintained with bits and pieces sticking out here and there, you have to keep an eye on your kids. Evenings – short kiddies disco and occasional bingo, no other entertainment, which is probably just as well as seating outside is minimal, 34 seats (yes, this saddo did actually count them), so if you have visions of a nice peaceful evening on a warm terrace with friends and a few cocktails, forget it unless you want to lay on the hard sunlounge
