Seashells Beach Hotel

Never had a duff meal here always good. Good value for money and plenty of choice. We always eat here when we’re in Sutton ( which is several times a month) staff always friendly and helpful. Can recommend vegetable lasagne, husband recommends any of the curries.

Found this little gem and booked a meal. Serve excellent, meals made fresh with a extensive menu. Very generous portions and could not fault the food. We definitely be going back before we go home and will use again next year. Thank you Seashells xx

Stayed here for seven weeks with work and really enjoyed it. Rob, Michelle and their staff were very friendly, welcoming and couldn't have done enough for us. The locals in the bar were friendly and chatty and made us feel all the more welcome. Food was great and they even got up earlier to prepare breakfast for us before we left for work. Menu was massive and I didn't tire of it even into the 7th week. Room was comfy and clean and soon became a home from home. There was the occasional karaoke but it was good natured and attended by families with their children. Nice to see the community coming together for an event that it is evidently quite popular in the area. Rob the owner even went out of his way to post a parcel to my home address after I inadvertently had it to delivered to the hotel after I had left, which was much appreciated. Was a bit of shock having to come home and go back to cooking my own meals and washing my own clothes after being looked after so well for so long!

The room was clean and well appointed. However, it was incredibly small, with the double bed resting along a wall, so necessary to climb over each other to get in/out. What made the experience poor was the lack of customer service. We booked well in advance and yet the proprietor neglected to advise us that there was a party being held there the night of our stay. Loud disco until 11pm and then loud conversation and door banging for an hour after. Neither were we advised in advance that the kitchen was closed for the month, until we arrived. Add to this the lack of en suite shower (communal along the corridor) and £78 for a night in out of season January suddenly appears like something of a rip off. Owners would do well to attend to their customer service moving forward. Overall, disappointing and will not be a returning customer.

6 blokes, one mission, breakfast. Wow, superb service, friendly, great XL servings, very reasonably priced.. Superb hash browns. When you get chance, go out back and see the koi and parrots. Owner and staff are great. Will be back again tomorrow.
