"Best location. Opposite the hotel is 平江路where u can eat and shop till u drop. Next lane is 双塔市集 where u will discover the old Suzhou town experience with plenty of good food. The staff is excellent. We found there was a small stain on the pillow. They arranged changing almost within 10min and sent us 2 fruits pack as gestures of apology. When we checked out still gave u 2 small package of biscuit due to the pillow stain. Room is modern and large. It’s a pleasant stay in Mercure Suzhou. If we ever visit Suzhou again will definitely stay in this hotel. Highly recommended. People in Suzhou is so friendly and warm. This tis a fantastic trip."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly! The family room was spacious and comfortable. Also the breakfast had surprisingly good choices and again great service staff! The view in the breakfast restaurant was absolutely stunning: a full view of Jinji Lake area and parts of Dushu Lake. Oh, and the location was convenient just in front of the hotel entrance there is a subway station! Definitely. We will stay there again on the next trip to Suzhou! Just 2 stations to Pingjiang Road and Xiangmen!"

Environment: Very good, I liked it a lot, but the lighting was a bit off. When we were taking photos or doing makeup, it created a bit of a backlight. It could be improved slightly, but having several different color lighting options was great! Service: Superb! The ladies and the front desk staff were all very considerate and attentive. 24-hour warm-hearted butler service: Very thorough. Late checkout until 2 PM (subject to availability): The attitude was super good."

"Although building is old, but Citadines services is excellent, robot food delivery is prompt.  Excellent location line 6 station is just next to it, traffic is also not that heavy.  The city-view studio apartment that I booked face the expressway, abit noisy, after a night stay, the front desk gave an upgrade to deluxe suite on lower floor.   Joyce the manager is extremely helpful. Breakfast can be improve, need more variety, food quality can be better. Soy bean milk serve without sugar would be recommended. Happy with my stay at Citadines."
