The Zhang Mansion is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Yi County will find that the Zhang Mansion is a fantastic accommodation choice. Yixiandong Railway Station is located approximately 24km away and Huangshan Tunxi International Airport around 57km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Taoyuanju, Hongcun Village and Water Channel all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests of this Yi County hotel can make use of the parking facilities. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"Zhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others!
Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you.
The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable.
Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests.
Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water.
The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain)."

With multiple attractions nearby including Hongcun Village-Wang Ancestral Hall, Deyi Hall and Red and White Ancient Trees, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"Amazing hotel like walk through 100 years ago. Staff members were nice and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was great. Unfortunately couldn’t use hot springs and scenically photo voucher from the hotel because our limit of time.
However staying there was the wonderful memories.
Only one point for the room we booked, bath tub location is not practical to use😅."

The B&B facilities are novel and environmentally friendly, with a children's swimming pool and a small cinema. Tea and reading in the courtyard on the first floor, drinking and chatting on the terrace on the second floor, and viewing and taking photos on the platform on the third floor. Perfect guest room facilities, Kohler, Wrigley and other brands of bathroom, projection TV. The public areas in the store can provide indoor and outdoor cafes for guests to use, and the conference room in the store can provide high-end office projectors and office equipment. The room is spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling glass, good lighting, beautiful scenery, floor heating and central air conditioning. I hope this store will bring you a comfortable trip.

Perfect stay in the clouds resort.
We spent five nights here. I am living in Chiba for 18 years. This is the best stay in hotel since I am here. The village is touristic, but authentic and quiet in night. It’s a mix of ancient village, water, nature. The dream China.
The resort is perfectly located on the side of the lake. The common parts are wonderful, from the term, the garden, the courtyards. You can feel the soul of the country here, built by multiple generations.
The rooms are traditional but beautiful and extremely well equipped with huge shower, Japanese toilets, huge bathtub.
There is 3 courtyards, all original and authentic. You feel the heat of history.
The restaurant is the best of the city, for reasonable prices and tasty and comfortable settings.
On the top of it, very dedicated staff, trying their best to make us happy, nice breakfast, nice afternoon tea, tea ceremony… we can be only grateful to have the pleasure to stay here.
Fast train station is just ten minutes away…

In general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast .
