If you need a break from the sand, take your pick and jump into 1 of 2 large pools located just mere steps from the back porch. Other island activities include onshore and offshore fishing, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, bird watching, and exploring the St George Island State Park. If you get a chance to stay here in the summer, be sure to explore the beach at dawn to get a glimpse of the nesting sea turtles. Fun Fact! The living room boasts comfortable seating for family and friends while watching HD cable or streaming Netflix. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room that pulls out into a queen size bed if you fall asleep during a Hallmark movie or want to have a slumber party with the kids. Feel free to walk out onto the attached private patio and stargaze if the night is clear or decompress by listening to the rhythmic sounds of the ocean waves (both are a must at the Spindrift Sea Turtle!). The second level houses a spacious guest bedroom and main bathroom. This room features a queen size bed, entertainment system and private balcony with ocean views of the Gulf of Mexico. Heading up to the third level, there is a cozy hideaway bunk room with two twin bunkbeds and a washer and dryer down the hall. Get a great night’s rest in the well-appointed master suite which features a comfortable king size bed and private master bathroom. Enjoy ocean views of the Gulf of Mexico from your private balcony.Also, please take note that the Spindrift Sea Turtle is a 4-level split townhome (including the ground floor entry) with three small staircases (7 stairs) connecting each level (not wheelchair accessible). Guests have access to all of the Spindrift Sea Turtle, plus all common areas of the community including two pools, BBQ area, boardwalks and beach. The carport fits two cars and extra parking is allowed along the road.The beach is pet friendly so be sure to bring your fur friends. One pet is allowed under 50 pounds with a $100 pet fee. We are a bay front home that is so near the water that it feels like you are on a cruise! Two screened porches, (one bay front and one on the entry side) a wonderful pier with kayak/paddle board launch pad and ladder. We are a private lot next door to an 8 acres of bay front land that we also own. We welcome your pets (no aggressive breeds). We do have a limit of two pets under 50 lbs.Enjoy our pool with sun shelf, bench (with a fountain) use the hot tub and when that feels hot, roll over into the adjacent pool. We have extensive travertine decking that flows into our “pool deck” with patio furniture, large out door pool TV walk through to our sugar white sand beach with benches, chairs and fire pit. Pool heat is available for an additional charge of $500.00 a week. We have an additional hot tub on our deck overlooking the bayWe are completely renovated home with modern decor, a kitchen with everything you need and top end appliances. Separate laundry room. We have the king/queen/bunk bedrooms on the main floor with the great room and kitchen and both screen porches. One of the unique features of our home is the lower level king bedroom with private entrance and it has its own cooling system. The lower level can be accessed by outside stairs or directly from parking area. We have extensive decks to watch the amazing sunsets that the bay is known for. We are steps from the island bike path and near the crossover to the gulf beach front. How close are we to the gulf front? We are 3 homes to Gulf Beach /drive and then two more to the gulf front. Welcome to AFTER-DUNE DELIGHT, a 4-bedroom 3.5 bath custom-built home that sleeps 8 comfortably. This spacious home is over 3,200 sq ft. and is only a 2-3 minute EASY walk to the boardwalk leading to the beautiful beaches of St George Island, and a little over a mile to the center of “town” (shops/restaurants) making it a GREAT location!. The home features a well-equipped open-concept kitchen (ocean-views!) with updated stainless steel appliances. Enjoy the large living area with multiple sitting areas,a 65’ wall mounted smart tv, large dining room table that seats 10, as well a game table (seats 4), and a bar that seats four. You will find smart tv's in all bedrooms and the living area. You will find TWO king master bedrooms on the main level! One room has a king sized bed, two walk-in closets, ensuite bath with garden jacuzzi tub, separate shower and dual vanities. Main level also has another king bedroom with a king sized bed (pictures coming soon) and a full bath. The kitchen, dining, living room, laundry room and a half bath are also located on the main floor. The main level opens up to a wide sun deck that wraps around the home. Both main level bedrooms open to deck. There are two bedrooms upstairs one with a queen bed, the other with two twin beds and they share a full bath. Both rooms open to a covered balcony with exceptional views the Gulf of Mexico!The home has been updated with tile and luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout- NO MORE CARPET! Golf carts, which can be rented, can be driven directly from the home. Our two bedroom/two and a half bath townhouse is located at 300 Ocean Mile – a beach-side community located on the east end of the island, just adjacent to the St. George Island State Park. The home has a spacious split-level open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen that opens into the living and dining area. This 1400 sq. ft. town-home was recently updated with new kitchen, bathrooms, and lighting throughout. We have something for everyone. Get a great night's rest in the well-appointed main suite on the top level, which features a comfortable king size bed and private master bath with rainfall shower head. Enjoy views of the gulf from your private balcony. We have bunkbeds outside the master suite, so children (this is not an adult bed) can have their own retreat. Each bed has a light and USB port to power devices. Full sized washer and dryer are also on the top level. The middle level houses the guest bedroom and full bathroom. This room features a queen size bed. Enjoy ocean views from the main living area deck. Walk right off the back deck to get to the pool and grill area. The carport fits two cars and extra parking is allowed along the main road.Most people come to St. George because of the seclusion. The island has a much different feel than neighboring beaches communities. Retirees especially like the quiet feel and our island is good for families that want to avoid the crowds. Getting here is easy (approximately 2-hour drive from Tallahassee, 6 hours from Atlanta or Birmingham), but you'll feel worlds away. There are plenty of things to do on the island – biking trail and bike rentals, kayaking, fishing, boating and shopping. There are plenty of restaurants offering everything from pizza to fresh seafood. If you prefer cooking, the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped and vented. And there are a couple markets on the island with a good selection of meats and groceries. Or in just short trip, you can be in Apalachicola, known for their shopping, great dining and festivals. We have HD cable and flat screen TV’s in each living area. Free high speed wifi that works great if you do have to connect.Guests have access to our entire home, plus all common areas of the community including two pools, BBQ area, boardwalks and beach.Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.
