Premier Inn is my go-to hotel when staying at the airport. Very clean and bed is comfortable. The Dublin airport branch is close to a shopping complex and 20 minutes walk at the Swords Pavillion.

訂的是雙床房，結果給了三床房…這也沒什麼 首先從入住就不順利，我是下午五點多入住的，結果拿了房卡去房間，發現工作人員在打掃衞生，房間還沒有整理完畢，我等到了25分鐘… 其次 房間很大，空調供暖很無力，三個小時了依舊很冷很冷，打電話去協商要換房間或者送毯子…結果在第二次打去前台的時候，前台那位女士故意掛斷電話了，説她覺得現在的温度可以了……她覺得？？好可笑！！當時房間温度不到18度！第三次電話才給送了一個被子… 早上有送機巴士，2歐元一位，五分鐘就到、蠻順利！衹是酒店前台服務那位女士…你好可笑！

Executive summary: Avoid room anywhere near freight receiving dock of hotel. We stayed here for one night before flying out of Dublin airport. The hotel is located close to Dublin airport. They have a shuttle to the airport. The shuttle is not free, but the fee is modest. The rooms are what one would expect for a chain hotel with moderate prices - satisfactory but nothing to write home about. Good value overall (IF you have a quiet room). The check-in experience reminded me a bit of the airport scene from the movie Planes, Trains, and Automobiles: The front desk lady was professional, but it seemed as though checking me in required several thousand keystrokes on her computer. Towards the end of the check-in experience, I was asked if I wanted to dine in the hotel restaurant. I was told reservations were absolutely essential. I walked over to the dining room. It was half empty. We dined there later that evening. It was still half empty. The restaurant food is like that of an inexpensive/casual dining restaurant with slightly (but not terribly) inflated prices for the captive audience. The "essential reservation" talking point made the experience feel a bit silly - for such a casual and half empty venue; the urgent pitch ended up cheapening the experience. One has to pay for parking - 15 Euros per day. This was disclosed clearly before I booked, and the hotel rate was still reasonable even when factoring in the parking fee. When we parked our car, ours seemed to be one of only two cars parked in the large lot. See background of attached pic. That's the hotel parking deck behind the lorry. Perhaps it is more crowded at other times of the year. If not, the fee for parking should probably be retired. We had two rooms. One room was fine and would have rated a 4 out of 5 because of good overall room value. The other room had an issue. It was immediately above the hotel's freight loading dock. I've attached a pic of the 2nd delivery the following morning (this one at a more reasonable 7am). The hard working lorry/truck drivers seem to deliver goods until quite late at night. And they start deliveries VERY early in the morning. And hotel staff come outside the freight receiving area for cigarette breaks. The hotel's delivery drivers during our visit preferred loud hip hop music - and the hotel staff must not have perceived any issues with that (late at night or early in the morning). The lorry driver who made an early morning delivery (at I think it was 545) also used an electric pallet loading machine to help him move his delivery into the hotel. That made a fair bit of noise. Because of this delivery noise, the other room we had rates a 1 out of 5. I'm rounding the average rating for the two rooms to 3 out of 5 - as I actually would stay here again (if I could be assured of a quiet room far away from the freight receiving dock).

This is a typical Premier Inn a couple of miles from Dublin airport so it's significantly cheaper than the hotels inside the airport perimeter. Room 431 was a large room with 1 suitcase stand and no in-room safe. It did have an iron and ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities, good bedside lamps and a heated towel rail. The bathroom had a walk-in shower which was great. However the floor of the shower was quite slippery, especially with wet feet. Surely a nonslip bathmat would be a sensible idea. When I enquired at reception about this, the very helpful lady explained that there was a wee notice in the bathroom advising that mats were available which I'd missed. As always, Premier Inn offers a no- frills stay at reasonable prices. We ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel and both of us decided to have the burger. This was a very good quality meal without being an enormous amount of food because the skin-on chips and coleslaw weren't too big. Both the restaurant and the hotel are very highly recommended.
