The Lake Hotel Tagaytay

The view is fantastic! It has a 7/11 opposite side of the road for your necessities and a bakeshop (Contis) just within the ground area of the hotel. Food establishments are walking distance and hotel staffs are very accommodating! Wifi signal is execellent too and buffet breakfast is complete! We’ll come back here again. 😊

Towels were so old…. it was dirty cream instead of white. Shower heads and tube had molds. Rooms 207 and 209 smelled bad. We had to call for shampoo and shower gel. This is not a luxury hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, but try to get a room on the 2nd floor so that you have a better view. There's a fence blocking the view on the first ground. The view is amazing. The rooms are a bit dated but complete. The breakfast with live music from a talented pianist was a real surprise. During breakfast, you also enjoy the stunning view, with a small infinity pool in between to keep the kids busy. Staff is nice. We stayed 1 night, as per our itinerary.

The room we stayed in is outdated. With leak in the shower area, the small pillows have stinky smell that we need to send it back to the reception because we cannot take the smell. The fridge smells pineapple. The bed frame has stains on it.  We stayed in thr 1st floor and the room we got has no windows but many mosquitos outside and inside.Also, I booked 1 double bed and 1 single bed. but we got 2 single beds instead. Per reception, that is the latest bed assignment and their website is not yet updated. Overall, our staycation is ok but will not come back, and not recommendable.  Please have your hotel be renovated. It is creepy as hell to stay in your rooms.
