Find 3-Star Hotels in Taichung

Hotel room quite big,clean and worth the price. Location good near the Taichung train station walk within 3 minutes. Good place to use the public transport, walk within 1 minute have the convenient shop 7/11 and family mart. Even come with HSR and transfer via TRA go to this hotel also very easier. The bad thing is this hotel do not have rest place to microwave takeaway food, u need to finished the food in your room and do not have water purifier. If wanna get some hot water refill may need to get free from Family mart. Anyway, I'm still enjoying in this hotel.

I Stayed in this hotel 1 year ago and this trip to Taichung I choose this hotel again because it is near to Taichung train station. Easy to move around.

Very nice room, i booked the capsule type but they upgraded to a single room instead, it was very nice. Location is very good, near taichung main station, Bus stop, and miyahara.

Location is ok as we just took Uber to navigate around Taichung. Room is generally ok, toilet quite spacious but hardly any space to put personal belongings. Walls are pretty thin not very soundproof.

I was so lucky. I booked a double room and was suddenly told to upgrade to a triple room. I also emphasized that I was the only one staying there, but the hotel still upgraded me. I was so happy. There was free coffee, milk tea, and cookies on the first floor. There was a lot of food outside the hotel, so I didn't have to worry about being hungry. It's very close to Fengjia Night Market. The hotel also has a parking lot, which is very convenient. However, this time I took a bus from Taichung Wuri High Speed ​​Rail, which was also very convenient. However, the only drawback was that the sound insulation was relatively poor, and the sheets and pillowcases had a stuffy smell. I hope it can be improved.

Had a great stay at Hotel Si! The showers had constant hot water with strong pressure, and they even provided travel adapters. The water dispensers on every floor were clean and convenient. The lobby was spacious, open, and beautifully decorated with plenty of plants. However, an important thing to note—our room had a balcony, and the toilet was located outside on it. This can be inconvenient, especially at night or in winter when you have to take a few chilly steps back to the bedroom after a shower. The Sealy bed was super comfortable, but the blanket wasn’t the best. The duvet cover kept shifting due to loose ties, which left empty spaces inside. The TV was large and had YouTube and Netflix, but it was quite laggy—maybe Haier isn’t the best brand for TVs. On the plus side, the location is fantastic! There’s a great massage parlour and a live band bar nearby. That said, the strict 4 PM check-in policy can lead to long queues, and parking is limited to just five spots outside, though alternatives are available. One small suggestion—the hotel might want to consider rebranding as ”Hotel Xi” instead of ”Hotel Si,” as ”Si” means ”die” in Mandarin, which is a cultural taboo for Chinese guests. Overall, it’s a decent option if the price is right. The separate toilet setup was a huge downside for me, but the convenience of the location makes up for it. Would consider staying again!

Arrived the hotel around 3pm, and was swiftly checked in by the staff. They explained that they do not provide mineral water bottles but there are water dispensers in the hotel on certain levels. Hotel staff was very helpful: I needed help to check for a bus to Lihpao and they helped to search on the spot, and advise accordingly. There are many good breakfast places and a 7-11 within 3-5min walking distance from hotel, and there is a night market 10-15min walk away from the hotel too. As we wanted to explore HouLi area, they were able to store our luggages when we checked out too. Would prefer this hotel if I could flush toilet paper down the toilet. I wasn't comfortable with the idea of throwing soiled paper into a waste bin due to hygiene (but I had to get used to it for many places in Taiwan). Would be nice if there are more universal power point in the room too.

The location was great and the room was very decent. The only thing I wished was for the design of the bathroom to be a bit better. Other than that, the service was good. The staff in general were quite helpful. Would come stay here again if I come to Taichung.

Room was clean and good for solo traveller. The common areas were also pretty nice to relax. Also just walking distance to Taichung railway station (and bus stops which will take you all over Taichung) so it is good. Have to tap in using the card given to you to access your own floor, so feel safe as well. I love the rooftop area where I can just drink and wind down after a hard day travelling. Only complaint is the air con in the room doesn't seem to be working so well, so it might feel quite warm (I travelled in the summer). Also the blinds are not good enough to block out all the light coming from outside, so be mindful of that. Otherwise, a pretty good stay for a short trip in Taichung, and even with quite a few homeless people outside around the area, still felt pretty safe even at night

This hotel is really well-designed, comfy and impressive. Surrounding neighborhood is alright, but there is a night market within biking distance with loads of yummy food. The service is great, especially the assistant manager 香琳, who is super super nice and professional. Highly recommend to anyone who visit Taichung.
