This is a modern ryokan on the beach at Takahama. They have a shuttle bust which picked us up from Wakasa-Takahama station. The rooms are traditional with tatami flooring and futon beds. Each room has a private toilet and a sink, but the shower/bath is a public one on the top floor. The bath has a great view of the beach and the Sea of Japan. Breakfast was an amazing Japanese meal with many tasty things to try. If you like futons, public bathing, and Japanese food, then this place will be wonderful. The owner/manage speaks English.

カニフルコースを頂きました 食事をしながらの景色は良いのですが、残念ながら値段を考えるともう一度行こうとは思いません。 尚、カニコースであれば、お得コースが良いと思います。 ・天ぷら、焼きガニは美味しいです。 ・茶碗蒸しは恐らく、くらのほうが美味しい。 ・お茶も出です、お絞りも中々出てきません。 ・食べ切れない物は持ち帰りが出来きます。 ・子供用のお子様ランチのポテト・唐揚げは美味しいです。
