Hotel Diego De Almagro Talca

Buen hotel en cuanto a precio y calidad , en toda su infraestructura; lamentablemente no puedo decir lo mismo en cuanto a la atención del cliente en recepción; cuento como fue nuestra experiencia , llegamos desde Argentina (Córdoba) un viaje largo y cansador tipo 22 horas x que no pudimos quedarnos en Malargüe esa noche ya que cerrarían el paso al día siguiente x tormenta de nieve ;al llegar un día adelantados nuestra tarjeta no estaba habilitada, entonces ofrecimos a la señora de recepción de unos 50 o más años(digo esto como referencia x que no se cuál es su nombre) pagarle en dólares NO QUISO x que no nos podía dar el vuelto en dólares, le dijimos que nos diera en pesos Chilenos TAMPOCO ACEPTO, a todo esto nos ponía palos en la rueda y no nos daba solución, solamente que dejáramos 200 dólares en depósito, cosas que entre idas y vueltas tuvimos que hacer para poder alojarnos. A todo esto se pasaba la hora y ya nos cerraban el restaurante que x cierto comimos muy bien . Bueno en conclusión creo que a esa SEÑORA le deberían decir que les de soluciones a los clientes y NO ponerlos en problemas a esa hora de la noche y después de haber viajado 15 horas, no es justo en un hotel de esa categoría y que no es para nada barato.

We have stayed there for 8 days. Nice and friendly staff but, besides that, almost everything went wrong. We asked for the pool, but it is closed indefinitely. The room on the 4th floor seemed OK at the first sight, even if it looked outdated. It’s cold in Talca in the night, and when the AC started it was almost unbearable. It was louder than a construction site, and we couldn’t sleep for the first couple of nights. On the 4th day the bathroom floor started to flood, and the personnel told us that we must move to another room. They said the hotel was almost fully booked, and the only option we got was a 2nd floor room. The 2nd floor is a kind of convention center, and it is nosy sometimes. There are only 2 guest rooms on that floor, quite hard to find. Our new room had old, some missing furniture, and an old, small and outdated TV set. At least the AC was OK. Wifi works well sometimes, but inconsistently. Quite annoying if you have online meetings as we had. The breakfast buffet was very basic, and you certainly get tired of the same food for 8 days. We also had lunch and dinner there a couple of times, but the menu was extremely limited.

The renovated bedrooms with one larger bed and quiet air conditioning, are very comfortable. As usual the staff are extremely efficient and always helpful. It is always a pleasure when visiting Talca to stay in this hotel.

Benjamin Hotel igual a las imágenes. A pesar de ser antiguo es limpio y personal amable.

Me encantó Muy bien ubicado, limpio, grande, cómodo, etc.
