Best experience ever! Beautiful well appointed luxury tents, excellent sieves and amenities and extremely helpful knowledge staff all round with including the drivers, guides, waiters, chefs and room stewards and guards. Thank you for making our stay memorable. From the flights to and from Mara, arranging the best memorable ballon safari, Maasai cultural experience and much more. Best game viewing and wildlife experience in a long time in the savanna grasslands of magical Kenya’s Maasai Mara.

Great team and service ! Game drives with Eric were amazing, he is a skilled driver and because he is also a photographer himself he brought us ti the best positions and angeles all the time. Also Eric the waiter (different Eric ) has amazing service and an interesting man. Food in the restaurant was great every time. Different amazing soup each time. Kelvin naithen and ted from the restaurant helped us with everything we needed, always stayed to tell us more of kenya and their culture and were available to hear our experiences from the game drives. Kelvin the head cheff has greas hands for cooking, full week of eating his food which was both super healthy and tasty was great ! We took a massage with Linet and she is for sure a professional, dont miss it ! All of security team were always so caring and nice. Big John and Peter were very interesting and took us on a bush walk around camp twice, 2 hours walk each time, and we still wanted to do more. Of course you can ask them to be shorter if you want. Overall kempinski is the best in the "Luxury Hotels" category. If you can afford a luxury hotel vacation - this kempinsky is the best choice !

We had an amazing time at Olare Mara Kempinksi. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Masai Mara to stay here. We stayed for 3 days and the whole time we had such a nice time! The staff is very warm and hospitable and takes care of your every need. Special shoutouts to - Dominic for running an amazing property and taking care of us. Danson who was our guide for game drives made sure we didn’t miss out on any of the amazing sights the conservancy had to offfer. Hezron for taking care of us during all our meals and making sure we have amazing setups for all our meals be it on a riverside or on our deck! Linet was great at spa and Oscar was our housekeeper who helped keep our suite updated! Would totally recommend coming here! hakuna matata

We had such a special time here! The morning and late afternoon wildlife drives with Eric were a once-in-a-lifetime experience, both from a learning and just pure awe standpoint. The dining room staff is very kind and the food is excellent - produce is grown on site as much as possible, and mornings include several choices of freshly squeezed juices using homegrown or local fruits. The security staff escorts you in the early morning and evening to protect from large animals. Laundry was provided same-day during our stay. And the staff includes some special surprises here and there that just made this trip even more memorable. Your tent “room” is huge, as pictured. Hot water is provided through solar and a back-up generator, so you will always have it (which is generally not a guarantee while traveling in the area). I would encourage you to read about community tourism before visiting to give your experience more depth.

From getting picked up at the airstrip through game drives and meals this was an incredible experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I eat vegan and the meals were wonderful. The staff are flexible; e.g. We wanted an early game drive and they prepared a breakfast we took with us. This was my second time here and my wife's third do that speaks volumes. We had 3 game drives and saw 40 species, all the cats, cubs, birds, crocodile, jackals,etc. Could not have been better.

Amazing place in a private conservancy. Tents huge and clean. Staff incredible and always willing to please. Menu differs daily and delicious. A special thankyou to David our safari guide, warm, friendly, patient and eager to please. Got to see all animals including the leopard and cheetah. Thankyou Olare Mara Kempinski!!

From the moment we arrived at Olare Mara Kempinski, we felt completely transported—like stepping back in time, yet wrapped in every modern comfort imaginable. The lodge perfectly balances rustic charm and luxurious comfort, creating an atmosphere that feels both adventurous and indulgent. The staff were absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond to make every moment special. The chef was incredibly accommodating, even preparing off-menu dishes just to suit our preferences—something we deeply appreciated after long days out on safari. A special thank you to our guide, Duncan, who was phenomenal. His knowledge, passion, and patience made our experience unforgettable. We saw all the animals we’d hoped for—except for the elusive rhino—but Duncan tirelessly spent seven hours on an all-day drive trying to find one for us. His dedication truly speaks to the exceptional service here. Visiting the Masai Mara is genuinely life-changing, and staying at Olare Mara Kempinski made it even more extraordinary. We can’t recommend this lodge highly enough to anyone considering a safari. Every detail, from the setting to the people, makes it an experience you’ll treasure forever.
