A Disappointing & Inaccessible Stay – More Like a Wild Cabin Than a Beach Retreat I would not recommend Baron Beach Bungalow to anyone looking for a relaxing or comfortable retreat. The place is extremely run-down and poorly maintained, making it feel more like an abandoned cabin in the wild than a beach getaway. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the property has been neglected. Basic amenities were not functional — the fridge was broken, and the toilet closet leaked badly, causing water to pool on the bathroom floor after every flush. Cleanliness was also a serious issue: the bed sheets had lizard droppings and ants crawling all over them. This is unacceptable for any paid accommodation. Worst of all, the entire night was ruined by constant scratching sounds coming from the ceiling and walls. When we raised our concerns, the keeper casually assured us it was just a rat — hardly a comforting response. On top of all this, the place is difficult to access and does not offer the peaceful retreat experience it advertises. It’s isolated, but not in a serene way — more like neglected and forgotten. Save yourself the trouble. There are far better places nearby for the same price. This was a huge disappointment.
