Taroom Caravan & Tourist Park

We stopped overnight and arrived after dark but we’re delighted with the fairy lights around the park! The owners greeted us even though the office was closed and showed us where our site was and made sure we were ok before leaving. The kids were excited to go exploring and were thrilled with the skeletons they found 😆 Thank you for a memorable stay!

The one thing that is first class about this park is the wonderful managers . Vonnie and Graham . They are everything managers should be in a small park. I felt instantly welcome on arrival. Graham was very kind to show me a site which suited me , he helped me reverse into a site , he helped me put my water hose on and the electricity. Graham helped me level my van as well. Great service above and beyond . They were happy to suggest walking trails, gave info about dining places in town and all the details about park amenities . Much of the landscape planting looked new , the toilets and showers clean and freshly painted , the whole caravan park is beautifully laid out in terraces . It is not crowded with other nice quiet and serious caravaners staying there. The only real eyesore of the park , not far from the entrance is a very derelict scary looking old beat up caravan which looks totally out of place and detracts from the general happy fresh vibe to this caravan park. Might I suggest to the owner to move the old thing on somewhere out of site . It serves no purpose being an eyesore at the entrance where first impressions should be an important factor in attracting customers. I highly recommend this caravan park and the wonderfully professional managers Vonnie and Graham . Vonnie and Graham are very caring managers who in my time at the park were non stop working and on the go . I highly recommend stopping at this lovely caravan park , in the lovely town of Taroom with the lovely Vonnie and Graham to care for you .

Stayed 2 nights in our caravan. Park on Dawson River nice walk from park. Very clean amenities. Owners so delightful only been here 12 weeks. Would certainly recommend. Nice flat sights. Very quiet away from highway.

We have never been to Taroom before but we will be returning - and with our fur baby! The cabins have been or are being refurbished. Ours was brand new! New beds and bedding, updated bathroom and a lovely deck for a sundowner or two! Easy walk into town - 500m along a cement path following a creek - beautiful! We ended up at the local Bowls club for dinner - very good decision. Loved our stay ❤️

Nice clean freshly painted amenities.The park managers are very friendly and helpful.The location is a beautiful bush setting,and very quiet of a night.It has the est over night rates I have come across everand it is right on the Dawson river.
