Beaufort Lodge - Central Location & Free Parking

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Taunton! From the moment we arrived at Beaufort Lodge, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The warmth and hospitality shown by Richard was second to none. The guest house itself is spotless, full of charm, and beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had every comfort you could want, from crisp, clean linen to a delicious selection of teas and coffees and a cafetiere. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept like logs! The location is absolutely fantastic too, just a short walk from the town centre, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing night’s sleep. The free off-road parking was also a bonus. All in all, Beaufort Lodge is a real home-from-home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Due to a family incident we didn't see the owner. So for over £200 per person (2nights) we didn't receive the service I assume we would have got. As our stay there was out of season my room at best was a work in progress. I reserve judgement due to the circumstances.

Me and my mums friend stayed here due to my mum going into Taunton hospital for major surgery as it was so close within distance which was more than what we wanted at the time . Within the circumstances the trip itself wasn’t nice at all but honestly couldn’t ask for a more understanding owner ( Richard) who was so empathetic And understanding about everything . Room was bright and airy and beds were comfortable which helped calm nerves when waiting for news . Just want to thank Richard again for absolutely everything ! Highly recommend and would stay here again hopefully under better circumstances
