Hotel LIVVO Lago Taurito & Aquapark

This hotel was great for the month of February we spent a week here which was long enough as there wasn't much to do...abit fresh in the morning if you were not in the sun also fresh in the evenings so a light jacket is needed......but over all the temperature was 25 the swimming pool got very busy at the hotel and not much space.... we were lucky as our room was on the ground floor so we could sunbath right infront of our room. There are other hotels in the bay and in the middle of the resort there was a very big aqua pool for all the hotels...which was great as in was included when we booked all inclusive....and a plus was that in february the park was never to busy so spent every day there.....water on the other hand was very fresh.....but once in all good.. There was a small beach as well.... A good relaxing holiday with my daugther...nice room. would not go there in july and august as i think the park would get very busy.....

Great for kids but very run down. Lifts do not work. Only ever one working. Air conditioning in rooms is awful. Air conditioning in reception area and bar not working and staff member said hasn’t been working for a long time! Food great lots of choice

Have just got home from a week stay here with my Two Daughters and their family's a total of 9 of us.we did have a nice time and made some good memories but we will not be returning. I would give this hotel a 2.5 star, the hotel lobby around the pool cockroaches, we even had some in 2 of the 3 rooms in the. The hotel to be fair is in need of a face lift, it is worn and dated. The food was repetitive and the fresh seafood on the salad bar was left uncovered every day so there were flies on them, not very hygienic, During the day the only bar that was open was next to the pool and the other 2 bars only opened in the evening. The one by the entertainment the staff were not very polite to say the least. The water park has some amazing rides which we liked but the water in the park is salt water. The Hotel pool was nice but for the size of the hotel we found the pool was too small. Was too busy around and within the pool to fully enjoy it. Around the pool was slippery, kids and adults was slipping over. Evening entertainment was ok for young kids, disco which started at 8 pm for the very young and then at 9 pm was a evening show was not all that great, rather boring really. The area around the entertainment stage needs some work, it is on decking which needs some tlc. Some of the planks are lose which is not very safe when there are kids running about. Around the entertainment area is amusement arcades, My advise, take lots of spending money! Around the complex is lots of shops, we did use the shops to buy bits and bobs but my advice again is take lots of money as the prices are crazy! There is nothing near by except for a few restaurants shops by the be beach. Overall we did have a nice holiday, but with a little bit of work and TLC to the hotel it could of been much better.

Have just got home from a week stay here with my husband and 2 children aged 2 and 11, we did have a nice time and made some good memories but we will not be returning. We requested a cot for our 2 year old which was not available so she had to sleep inbetween me and my husband. The food to be fair we could not fault, yes repetative but we never went hungry. During the day the only bar that was open was next to the pool and the other 2 bars only opened in the evening. The waterpark has some amazing rides which my 11 year liked but the water in the park is salt water. The water was burning our eyes even with the kids wearing goggles and give my son a sore throat. My 2 year old got some water in her mouth which actually made her vomit in the water park. We only went to the waterpark 1 day out of the week as my son didnt want to go back due to the salt water. We mainly used the pool within the hotel which was much better water but for the size of the hotel we found the pool was too small. Was too busy around and within the pool to fully enjoy it. Around the pool was slippery, kids and adults was slipping over. One child slipped right in front of me getting out of the pool and hit his head on the floor. Evening entertainment was ok, my 2 year old loved the kids disco which started at 8pm and then at 9pm was a evening show. We were on floor 2 which is ground level with the sunbed area so we didnt have a balcony, we had a open patio area which went straight out onto the sunbed area. In terms of using the lifts this was good as we used the stairs and carried the buggy up and down as the lifts took forever. In terms of safety, we personally didnt like this as felt too open for our 2 year old. However others we spoke too loved it, as it ment they could just walk off their patio. I suppose personal feelings on that. Overall we did have a nice holiday, but with a little bit of work and tlc to the hotel it could of been much better. Had the waterpark been chlorine too, we would of gone to the waterpark every day over the small hotel pool. If you are used to salt water swimming then you will be fine in it. A fantastic location but a very old and tired hotel, we had cockroach in our room on two occasions both during the day on 7th floor both 1 inch in sizeI cant imagine what it wouldbe like at night 🤯. Both came from the wardrobe behind bathroom access panels. The pool is too small and always busy and I refuse to put towels out as I think that's unfair but the hotel do nothing to stop it. The food was ok on a few days but the majority of the time it was bad, cold or undercooked. Lacked flavour and risks of contamination was there. The all inclusive bars lacked basics like glasses 🥂 and felt cheap. The waterpark was the best bit of the holiday. We did enjoy the holiday but next time we will choose a better hotel 🏨

2nd time visiting ere last visit July 23 and I must say the first visit was a much nicer experience food was more exciting.... carnt fault the rooms always clean we never had a problem with towel change ...we knew the drinks were gonna be a wash out as they aren't freshly poured for you (come from a machine) from previous experience so bought our own at airport ........those folk moaning about poolside we obviously picked up on the same vibe as we spent no time there as it was extremely busy noisy ( not the best clientele) not a place to relax 🤔 some folk want their moneys worth and don't want to be far from food & drink .....water park wasn't busy but what clientele were there seem to be mainly Spanish .....ur holidays wot u make it never go with high expectations cos then ur not left disappointed....... dolphin trip highly recommend wasn't a fan of Mogán market extremely busy & hot quaint little place tho ....bus ride to puerto rico is always a must .....oooh and don't forget the tourist tax when checking in to hotel wasn't much £3 euros ENJOY !!
