Mangrove Marina and Resort Aqualodge Houseboats

Loved staying here with my boys. The boat house experience was great and comfortable. But the best was the beach bar on the marina where the kids could play games, swim in the pool and I could relax with a drink. Will stay here again!

Had the boat hauled here after one of the hurricanes a few years back. My original review was somehow taken down. First thing they did was haul the boat out when i went to the store for 20 mins after telling me they would do it in a few hours. Of course they left after so I couldn’t find them to adress what happened. Of course they denied the issue. The boat was a 40 ft sportfish that needed a short haul out. The boat had 2 spaces cutout for the haul straps.. making it very obvious where to place them. Anyone who hauls boats knows this. Not these guys… they just put the straps wherever they ended up… they caved in my chine spray rails and pretty much destroyed the boat. They denied it, rhen after I proved what they did… I told them to fix t professionally. Of course they took a week to literally glob 5200 and dry wall screws into my beautiful key west hull. The screws were sticking into the engine room from all angles and it was the single worst thing I have ever seen a shipyard do. Then they tried to charge me 4500 for the haul out. Of course I paid the losers and moved on. Naturally the boat needed to be actually fixed and I paid 13 grand out of my pocket to reglass the chime and fix the boat. This is the Florida keys… This caused over a week of sitting and no money coming in…. The only marina that will hell you and do the right thing is coral bay Marina. Pay what they charge and use them. That is the only place normal and professional.

We stayed in the Grey Lady and it was the perfect slip! Quiet, views of the bay/mooring field/mangroves. Limited kitchen amenities if you are "eating in". All staff friendly and helpful. WiFi sketchy.

Gorgeous view, generally quiet. Location just a short drive from numerous dining locations. Would stay again!

Family Weekend We normally stay in hotel rooms when we travel, so we thought it would be fun to try a house boat when I saw the option. We had all the comforts that a hotel provides, but with a way cooler atmosphere. Our only disappointment it that we didn't stay long enough to try the pool and restaurant. Good experience. We'd stay again.

We loved our stay at the quiet, beautiful marina right on the ocean. Our Manatee Houseboat was very clean and comfortable with adequate sleeping for the whole family!! The beds were very comfortable and the overall space was great, especially for a boat. The pool and barv area are very charming with an excellent food truck of fresh Florida Keys ityems. My family can't wait to return.
