"The staff are generally friendly however the service is not up to expectation. We are suppose to checkin at 2/3pm, and had a confirmation called from the hotel in the morning. However, when I arrived at 4pm, I was told that it’s not ready and they need till 5:30pm to have the room ready. The place was under renovation and it’s messy and dusty, but the room is nice and clean. Overall it’s good with nice view."
"Beautiful to a hotel without friends! highly recommended! The cabin feels beautiful, the room is comfortable and the meals are delicious! The waiter is warm and friendly! Drink beer snacks are all free! Affordable for this price! The scenery is super beautiful! I don't have any other photos that don't look good!"
"Because this brand hotel selected in Wanaka was very satisfied, I chose this brand in Te Anau. Very good location, on the edge of Lake Te Anau, very close to the Firefly Cave, 5 minutes to the supermarket; the room is large, clean, can sleep 6 people, pre-heated, rice cooker and hot pot, is the facility A little old, one room has electric blankets, the other is not; the toilet is a hard wound. In the middle of the two rooms, the sound of the toilet is very large, and the whole house will wake up. There are two cats in the yard, not afraid of people, will take the initiative to get close to you."

"The best motel in all aspects of this trip. The internal facilities are high-end, modern and luxurious, and very complete. Especially the wall-mounted furnace, which is warm and odorless, and very beautiful, and the flame color and light color can be adjusted; the washroom also provides a women's cosmetic bag, which is very considerate. We stayed in the Tamara Deluxe Studio on the second floor, with a large balcony. The balcony has a view of the lake and snow-capped mountains, as well as the hotel's exquisite small garden nursery. Every morning, you can see the morning mist of the lake and the golden mountain of the snow-capped mountains on the balcony, which is particularly beautiful. The hotel is located on the main road by the lake, and it is very convenient to go to the lake, the fjord, and the lakeside for a walk. It can almost be given a full score."
"The room was nice. The bed and bedding made me sleep comfortably. The hotel is not on the lake but it is less than 3 minutes walk away.
Although it is a small town, it is nice to live in. You can walk around. The souvenirs are cheaper than Queenstown (Chinese shop in the Town Center).
The area and public toilets are very clean."
"The hotel is in a prime location, a few minutes' walk from the tourist bus station and large supermarkets, and 5-6 minutes away from the lake and the information center. The hotel rooms are clean and heated, and there are simple tableware, refrigerators and microwaves. If you need more tableware for cooking, you can go to the front desk to get them. Although the hotel is a motel type, it is completely suitable for non-self-driving tourists."
"Cabin was ok; poorly insulated, had to make own bed, a bit dirty, no towels.
Shared lounge was fine just tables and chairs
Kitchen was disappointing, no cups or plates, these had to be hired separately. Laundry was expensive and insufficient outside drying space to encourage people to spend on tumble dryer.
Location nearby lake was excellent although a fair walk or short drive into main town."
"The rooms are quite big, the view from the living room and the master bedroom is nice, the sanitation is OK when I checked in, there are no big complaints, the facilities are not very new, and the decoration is the normal level of a motel.
No one cleaned the room for two consecutive days, and no towels were replenished, which is a bit unacceptable. Except for check-in/out, I didn't see anyone, so there is no good service to comment.
If you don't have high requirements for accommodation, you can choose it."

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe room is clean, two rooms, two beds in each room, with heating, kitchenware, you can go to the supermarket to buy things to cook, and there is a heater in the bathroom. The room I booked is on the second floor, close to the lake, the scenery is beautiful, and it is still quite quiet at night. The town of Te Anau is quite small, so there are supermarkets and restaurants near the hotel. You can see the stars by the lake at night, and the feeling of the Milky Way can be photographed with the mobile phone, which is great
GGuest UserIt was said that my boyfriend had missing a camera tripod and the hotel staff was kind and quick to help me deliver it to my final accommodation. Very grateful🫶🏻
GGuest UserThe view isn't great, but everything is there
It was nice to have an induction kitchen.
It's clean, so it's good to stay
A bit noisy on windy nights.
GGuest UserWarm hostel for families
Got sauna reservation and spa.
Kitchen with barbecue set for guests to use.
Need to borrow the cook-set beforehand if you are tourist which is not supposed bringing cooking utensils.
Polite and helpful staff make your days feel great.
GGuest UserWe stayed for two nights and loved the hotel. Front desk was helpful and friendly, everything was okay in our room. It was very cold when we were there and they gave us an extra heater. I was a bit concerned about some negative reviews before our arrival but, all went very well. We have not a single thing to complain about. The hotel is a 10-minutes walk from the streets with bars and restaurants. Most rooms have a nice lake view. Excellent budget hotel.
朱朱The hotel has plenty of space and good service. I washed the pots and bowls for me. I'm sorry. The parking is very convenient. After dinner, I can eat at the small counter outside the door. It is very pleasant
GGuest UserVery comfortable room with everything we could need. We stayed for 3 days and felt very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend.
KKateBKKThe spacious room, even though may a bit look old but it is good enough to stay with amenities provided. The owner's son is so kind with flexible on our some request.
Easy to access the room with our heavy luggage, not drag too far 😁
CCarla H.Location right on the highway and loud, if *** the cabin has in the direction. Very noisy also in between the residential sections. In the washroom a hair dryer and a towel dryer went from many. In our room, the bin was emptied when we were taking a shower. A clothesline was also suspended and the door locked, which we had left open for the short absence. We had to ask the lady to unlock us as we did not get in anymore. She pointed out that we should dry the laundry outside (on the washing day it rained ...). We felt that everything was a bit overblown. Scarce ***** t Euro are clearly too much!
EEVGENIINestled in the picturesque village of Arthur's Point, the hotel provided a serene and peaceful setting. The rooms were stylishly appointed, featuring modern amenities and breathtaking mountain views. The attentive staff and exquisite dining options contributed to an unforgettable stay in this scenic part of New Zealand.
