Viewtoria Resort

Viewtoria gives a clear view of the mountain range of trishul chowkhamba nandadevi and others. Rooms are neat and clean and all basic amenities are there. All staffs are very cordial and food is quite good. Owner sri naresh bahuguna personally takes care of everything. I will highly recommend it to my family and friends

the place is very positive and amazing and they serve very good food to the clients. and you can also see the Himalayan range from this resort. overall the place is very good and the owner is very humble and cooperative.

We booked this hotel after seeing a few 5 star reviews given on Google and on booking sites - but was disappointed to find out the reality. The two most disappointing aspects were the cleanliness and attitude of the staff (mainly the manager who was drunk throughout the day). Even the views are not what they advertise in the strategically taken photos! We had booked a 'Deluxe' cottage and was initially given a room that was shockingly dirty - I have seen cleaner storerooms in other hotels. The manager changed our rooms to a marginally better one after much pleading but nowhere near what you'd expect in a good hotel and the reason for the badly managed property started getting apparent as the day went on. The manager was more interested in drinking and playing loud music that in attending to guests and we had the misfortune of seeing him get quarrels with two other families other than us because of some complaint or the other. One of the person made a video of his drunk behaviour and I hope it makes it to the reviews to give a idea to prospective customers about what they will be getting into by booking this place. We had prepaid booking for two days but decided to check out the very next morning rather than let them spoil our holidays any more! The owners were nice people but they do not stay in the property and clearly a lot needs to change in this property to make it worthy of recommendation.Till then stay away from this place!
