I loved a girl at reception (Izy) for her kindness and help throughout the stay. The another guy was super unhelpful though. It was worth the money!

Dave Levinsky is a strange place. I stayed there for a week during a busines trip. When first dropped in it felt somehow like a high security prison at an ugly location somehow in a shaby area. However, I learned quickly that the area is quite good, dozens of good eating places and hip bars just a few steps away. Rooms are small but have everything needed. I had an excellent sleep. There is a roof garden with a lounge to seat and spend time. Breakfast is a few blocks away in a restaurant. Very good, indeed. Personel is first class, always ready to help and full of good tips for new ones to the city.

Showed up to check in for a booking - and the hotel was dark. No one there. No sign with information. No one answering the phones. Entrance on a dark street with weird people wandering around. Not a good experience. One wonders why they even offered reservations through any site. Dave Levinsky Son of a xxx

They keep your money in a stupid way. They don't returned my money by concept of “security deposit”, they don’t answer my emails. Bad experience with that. Is really a bad xperience, don’t pay security deposit, is just a way to loss some money. Be aware !!

If you’re looking for a peaceful and low-key hotel in the middle of a busy city, this is the best place to stay! They have cozy, chic designed cute little rooms where you have adequate space. You could walk to most tourist attractions and party all night just seconds to a few minutes away from the hotel and yet sleep soundly at night without any noise. If I’ll be back in Tel Aviv, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Cool Boutique Urban base
Pros:
- Good location (for our needs)
- Comfortable bed
- Quiet room (at the back of hotel)
- Friendly and helpful staff (especially Izzy who made sure our first visit to Israel was special, the cleaner lady was also super sweet)
- Modern vibe
- Good bathroom
- Close to a convenience store (am:pm, but be warned the staff there are terrible)
- Rooftop was cute, a nice to drink and relax
- The buffet breakfast (costs extra) is at a nearby sister hotel, and is very good (but the menu doesn’t seem to change day to day)
Cons:
- Bedroom was “urban” sized (as advertised, so we got what we asked for)

Noa is an exceptional front desk employee and the air conditioning system works great. After saying that I have difficulty saying anything good about the hotel. The hotel had no closet but had 2 hangers to hang your clothes on the hook. The drawers would only fit underwear they were so small. We couldn't bring our suitcase in except for the hallway in the room. The room was tiny and the design was not functional. The door to the toilet would hit you if someone opened it. Except for Noa the front desk staff were not friendly. The couch in the lobby is sagging badly. Our room overlooked garbage. The floor was bare concrete.

This hotel is a great spot to stay, very close to an excellent food market, and a ***** of excellent fun bars, restaurants and cafes. It’s quite quirky, but beds are very comfy and that’s a number one priority for us. A good nights sleep makes everything easier. Rooms are very small though so pack lightly.
