"We use this hotel at the swan thatcham quite regularly. Another great stay this weekend, with the footie aswell. Really nice all round, very friendly staff, and has a pool table too."

The Royal Oak, Yattendon

"After a terrible train journey to Reading and a slightly windy taxi ride (25 mins from Reading £35), it was a joy to arrive at The Royal Oak. The welcome was friendly (and I had had to make some last minute adjustments to the booking via Richard) and after checking in and taking my case upstairs to a very comfortable room, it was back down for a delicious veggie supper with a pint from the local brewery. This is the English Pub at its best. After a lovely warm bath in the very spacious bathroom and a good night's sleep, it was the full English Breakfast with locally sourced produce (all available in the local village store shop across the road). I stayed to work in the pub and then met up with friends for lunch. All delicious and cooked before your very eyes. The service was relaxed and quick and contributed to the quality of the stay."

The Bunk Inn

"قمنا بحجز غرفة عائلية في فندق جديد. وصلنا إلى الفندق وكان الجو هادئا في السطح. بعد حوالي 9 ساعات في رحلة عمل وتم إعطاء مفاتيح للغرفة التي لا يمكن وصفها إلا بأنها موقد في الطابق العلوي. فريق العمل حاول بوضوح المحافظة على هدوءه بإستخدام مروحة وستائر مغلقة. كانت الغرفة لا يمكن تكييف بها. في البداية، أعطى الفندق مفاتيح الغرف التي لا يمكن تكييفها إلا بمروحة. كان اختيارنا لفندق في جراند من أجل العيش في بانكوك. وكان اختيارنا ناجحا. كان المدير عادلا جدا وأعطانا المشروبات الإضافية وقتا رائعا عندما قررنا ماذا نفعل. حجزنا في مكان آخر (فندق قريب من بحيرة تكييف الهواء الذي كنا محظوظين بالحصول عليه ولكن كنا محظوظين) وكان الرسوم التي دفعتها لغرفتنا في فندق بانكوك قد تُرَف. وكان موقف الموظفين جيد جدا. الإفطار كان جيدا. في الموقع، كل شيء جيد، ولكن الطعام كان محدودا. في الط لقد تعاملوا مع الوضع بشكل جيد وساعدوا في تحويل الوضع السيء إلى شيء يمكن استرجاعه. الخدمة 4 نجوم فقراء الترحيب عند وصولنا لم يذكروا وضع الغرفة وفي عدة رسائل بريد إلكتروني تم ارسالها خلال اليوم فيما يتعلق بالحجز ولم يذكروا الآثار المترتبة على الحرارة المفرطة في الغرف- انتظارنا لإكتشاف الشئ نحن أنفسنا بعد رحلة طويلة طويلة من اسكتلندا."
