Hotel property is beautiful. Service was great. We stayed in French village. The rooms need to be updated. LAKISHA at mac truck is the best. They always happy to see you. Beach is phenomenal. Expensive trip but we'll worth it

Perfect location for our trip with our 2 daughters families (ages 8-71) There were things to do & food to eat for all ages! The accommodations were spacious/ well designed. Our suite overlooked the ocean! Such a memorable week!

This resort is truly my favorite place in the world. My family went a few years in a row a long time back, and then spent several years away and missed it the entire time. This year, we finally made it back for our longest awaited vacation ever—this time, all as adults and even me getting to bring my wife! I was honestly getting a little nervous as the trip approached that the nostalgic image I had of the resort in my mind was going to set my expectations too high and I’d be disappointed. Instead, it was better than I even remembered! Truly a dream vacation this year. Everything about this resort is magic—the food, the beach, the amenities, the people. As I mention the people, there are a few individuals on staff that warrant special mention for their above-and-beyond service. Kenton in entertainment made the trip for us. He was remarkable, and we got to spend a lot of time around him at his activities and in the Italian Pool, where he kept the party going all day every day. In that particular capacity, Dialdo also was incredible—as the pool DJ, he created the atmosphere that led to such a great week, and as we got to know him he also constantly had great and friendly service. Finally, I want to thank Gerrie and the entire culinary team for the special care and attention they gave to my wife, who has celiac disease. Traveling is often very stressful for us because of her allergy, but we ran into no problems here at all. They were always, always able to accommodate her in a way that was stress-free and ensured she got exactly what she wanted at every restaurant.

Great resort, the staff was very accommodating. Beautiful beach and the water activities were above and beyond. The water park was also pleasurable. 20 plus resturants to satisfy all. The evening entertainment was entertaining.

We were very hesitant to go here based on the many negative reviews, but we decided to go anyway as we were going with a big group. I will start by saying the resort is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and the beach is gorgeous. We were so excited for the trip that we decided to go a day early and stay at another resort so we could check in to Beaches early the next morning. Upon checking in, the woman at the counter was downright rude and acted as though our presence was bothering her. That’s when I realized we had made a very expensive mistake. Our room wasn’t ready so we started our day by grabbing breakfast at one of the buffets and spending time at the pool and beach. Our room was in the Key West village on the East side which bordered a parking lot. The first night was a disaster with loud music shaking my daughter’s bed and a motorcycle revving for an extended period of time. The next day I asked to be moved and we were thankful to be moved to another room. The new room was very hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working and had to be repaired, but it was fixed the same day. The repairman was very kind unlike most of the staff. We were in disbelief of the rudeness we encountered by most of the staff. We are from NY and we are accustomed to rudeness, but I have never experienced anything like it while on vacation. Most of the bartenders were rude as well as the restaurant waitstaff. The waterpark is a great place for kids and adults. The kids in our group ranged in age from 9-15 and they all enjoyed the waterpark. They have a limited amount of tubes so you have to get there early or you will be waiting a long time for a tube. By the end of the week there were very few tubes and they allowed us to use our own. If you plan on doing the professional photos choose your time slot wisely. We had our photos taken at 5:30 and the sun was so bright we couldn’t open our eyes. Instead of moving to a different location the photographer had us close our eyes and count to three and open them. We were squinting in almost every picture. While reviewing the pictures for some time I found a few decent ones. I asked about digital downloads and was told that I could only get printed copies. I saw another woman whisper something to the woman that told me no, so I felt like something was up. I paid $88 for 4 photos assuming they would be printed on quality photo paper. To my surprise they printed them right there and the quality was the same as a drugstore photo. I told them I wanted a refund as the picture color and quality was awful. Of course they were arguing with me but they did give me a refund. A few days later I overheard someone in the pool talking about digital downloads so my daughter went into the photo shop to ask and they told her we could get digital downloads when I was previously told no. Now onto the food… it’s just not good! We tried Mario’s, Schooners, Neptunes, La Petite, Soy and hibachi for dinners. The worst meal was at Mari

2nd Time at this resort and OMG how downhill it has gone. As last time Grounds and Beach are stunning, but thats where the positives end. Check in Staff, Rude ! Like you are an inconvenience being there. Resturant staff the same, pool bar staff the same. Food waiting times way too long, on our last night, sat down at Marios at 6.30pm, food arrived at 8.05pm not what you want with Children. Food quality sub par. No advertisements what is going on around the resort. I found out about quiz at Turtles on the last day when it was too late. No Tubes what so ever at the waterpark, they allowed us to buy our own from the Gift Shop, perhaps this is why to make money!. Barefoot by the sea, too many seagulls, staff did not seem bothered, again too long a wait for food. Shuttle leaves 4 hours before your flight, nothing at the Airport at all. For money paid there are far better resorts.
