Access Suites

Great stay with Access Suites! Room was lovely with wooden accents all over. Large living area separate from the sleeping room. Room had a balcony to enjoy coffee (provided free) upon waking up in the morning. Lots of windows in every room to allow natural light in! Things We Loved: super friendly staff! Everyone from the check-in desk to the servers in the restaurant were so kind. They even made a few jokes with us and always made sure to come check on us whenever we were eating in the restaurant or sitting in the lobby waiting to be picked up. The food in the restaurant was actually fantastic as well! We didn’t eat off the buffet which it seemed a lot of people staying there had included with their tour package. We were given menus to order items and we were very happy with everything we ordered. We didn’t expect such tasty food from a hotel. Things To Improve: Not much really. The living area has a floor level couch that was difficult to get in and out of for me as a relatively fit younger person. I couldn’t imagine someone older or with physical limitations ever using it. Also the hotel shower pressure could use a little adjustment. Overall it was a great stay with Access Suites and have zero issues staying there again or recommending them to other travelers!

We stayed in the suite room. It is very spacious with a spacious living room attached to the bedroom and a nice sitout. Bathroom size is huge with a bath tub. Service is excellent. Food was very tasty with lot of variety. They provided us Indian and Bhutanese cuisine. The staff is courteous and polite. They speak and understand English. You can see the Buddha Dordenma from this property. Local small shops are walking distance from the hotel.

This three star Hotel is a hidden jewel in Thimphu. Beautiful decor with lots of warm wood accents. The staff go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable and at home. Rooms are spacious and clean. House keeping goes above and beyond. Meals served in dining room are delicious and plentiful.

On arrival, we were greeted with hot towels and welcome lemon tea which was very impressive. The room was very nice and japanese inspired as well. The food was also very excellent and had so many choices. The staffs were also friendly and very warm.

Perfect, western style hotel combined with Traditional Bhutanese architekture and warm and welcoming atmosphere. Large rooms,,spa and restaurant are just perfect for travelers.Family suite with living room we stayed was spacious, beautifully designed . Breathtaking view of the iconic Dordenma, the world”s largest bronze Budda was another unexpected value. Food was great. We enjoyed their healthy organic meals, delicious local Bhutanese , Indian and some American meals.The restaurant staff prepared food especially for us, accordingly to our wishes and dietary needs .Only good words about this hotel, this Company and its manager Chimi. If you plan to visit Bhutan stay here for your trip and definitely book a tour with Access!!!!

I love this little hotel. Tastefully decorated in a mix of Bhutanese and modern Scandinavian style. Spacious rooms, super clean and comfortable beds. The staff were there whenever you needed them and even made me special food. Love it and will surely return.
