Excellent value. Staff very friendly & efficient. Cannot find any fault.

I have stayed in many Hyatt’s around the world, US, Europe and Japan, for years and this stay in India Hyatt Regency Thiruvananthapuram. The amenities are excellent and the location is good. Great stay in this hotel hotel as part of my vacation from US to Japan, India,Dubai. After my stay in Hyatt Los Angeles, Hyatt Tokyo, this stay in Hyatt Regency Thiruvananthapuram hotel was awesome, with good services, attentive and nice food. Breakfast was an absolute delight and also the lunch Thali meals. Overall, I had a great stay at Hyatt Regency Trivandrum during my vacation from the U.S. The location is central, the hotel is modern and comfortable, and the food was excellent — especially the breakfast and the lunch thali. Special mention to below staff, who made my stay excellent. Please pass on my appreciation to these great HYATT employees and deserve attention. The staff truly stood out. Special thanks to Argha Dutta who was very kind and supportive, he desrves special appreciation., Chefs Karthik and Shyama, and team members like Devi, Adarsh, Maria, Ebin, and many others who made the stay feel warm and personalized. Also, thank you to GM Rahul Raj for the personal welcome — a really nice touch. However, one incident really disappointed me. On May 9, Restaurant Manager Rahul insisted I be billed for breakfast for three people — even though my booking clearly included breakfast for three. Later, a charge showed up in my room. It was frustrating and unnecessary, and not what I expect from Hyatt. That issue aside, I’m planning to return in August 2025 and hope for a smoother experience next time.

As a revisiting hotel guest at the Hyaat Regency Trivandrum, I have nothing but the utmost praise, admiration and extended-gratitude for the entire concierge/guest relations team and Malabar Restaurant team. From the outset-upon our arrival after a very exhausting long-haul flight from London Heathrow to Trivandrum International via Doha UAE; with a overly tired and grumpy 2 year old toddler boy and tiresome 10 year old daughter wife & mother, Assistsnt Manager (Front Office) Shreya Singh deployed a detailed coordinated effort to make us all feel very welcomed immediately. Shreya ***** with the front desk team consisting of Shreya Aleesha, Anudarsh, Ajay & Maria all sensed our immediate need to feel at ease, comfortable and reassured. This culminated in organising our much needed family-interconnecting rooms with a suite and organising beverages, meals and rest upon request at 4am in the morning; and they executed this all to a high calibre - without hesitation. For the entire stay the team mentioned above all went out their way to personalise their approach with all my family members. They really got to know us on very well on individual level; particularly my overly active, highly animated and very energetic 2 year old son. Very soon he developed his own little fan base amongst all front desk team members; in particular with Adarsh within the Malaba restaurant who went above and beyond to serve us breakfast, lunch and dinner, pre-empting all our preferred food choices and assisting with nourishing is for the start of the day. It the entire hotel staff’s personal touch towards getting to know each individual guest personally, remembering preferences and experiences and prioritising Hyatt’s ethos of instilling the “personable experience” that sets them apart from all their competitors. As a family, we truly felt and appreciated this throughout our entire stay. On a memorable night late into the evening, it was great for me to observe a departing guest of 6 months call out the entire staff from the front desk and from both restaurants to the foyer; to honour and celebrate them all with a speech, gifts and dessert-treat all-around. This was snapshot of just how hard staff at Hyatt work to ensure a fantastic stay for all guests. In my humble and well-travelled opinion, The Hyatt Regency is the most outstanding 5 Star Hotel in all of Trivandrum. Right from the quality of rooms, guest services, quality and choice of food, guest relations team and spa treatments & therapists (NB: Tei’ is a gifted and outstanding therapist). It was sad for us to leave, as it felt like a second home. We hope it will not be too long before we get to stay again at The Hyatt Regency. I had a very good stay at Hyatt Regency Trivandrum.The overall experience was pleasant and comfortable. The room was good—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the breakfast—there was a good variety of options, and everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel also has a large and well-maintained spa. unfortunately, I didn’t have time to use it during my stay. I’d definitely try it if I return. The spa manager Mr. Praveen was extremely kind and welcoming.Would definitely recommend!

The food was excellent. We had a set meal & I can only say I ate the lot as it was so tasty. The Arabian food was so good and nice. I enjoyed the best felafel here and also the nice quality of chicken and lamb dishes.
