First of all, the drive to Alpine Meadows can be a bit taxing for some. We came from Clearwater as some had previously recommended. It is a rough track in parts, although wide enough for 2 cars, and it is basically 30 minutes each way “dead time” to go anywhere so once you are here you are unlikely to “nip out”for dinner. Having said that when you do get here, it is worth it. The location is superb by the lake. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing, free use of boating facilities, and lovely walks. The free breakfast was better than we expected and eating it on the patio one morning in the sunshine was idyllic. We also had dinner here on both nights , and on both occasions the food was excellent, so good in fact my wife had the same thing both nights. The staff in the restaurant and on site were extremely friendly and helpful, and really enjoyed our short 2 night stay. The only point I would make is that while our 1 bed cabin was lovely, it was not equipped for self catering, it did have a microwave implying we could cook our own meals if required. However, there was no cutlery or dishes. This was not a problem for us but this addition would be useful. Overall beautiful location, if want a relaxing few days, just the 30 minute drive to get anywhere. Thank you for an enjoyable 2 night stay.

Went on a 4 night stay at the end of may. The resort was everything we needed and more. The drive from Clearwater was a breeze, even in the rain. Road is well maintained. We had a one bedroom with full kitchen, nice deck and a lake view. We cooked breakfast even though there was a free one available. Supper BBQed on the grill provided. The lake was fantastic but the fish didn’t cooperate with me. Got 2 anyway tried everything. The free use of a boat was nice and didn’t go in the canoes. The grounds are groomed with plenty of walking paths and spotless. The staff were great needed some supplies 2 days in and came right away to stock us up. Took a drive up to Dunn Lake, further up the road, and to the ferry. Was a good explore drive. Wells grey park is unreal. Went up to the end at Clearwater lake for a picnic and see the water fall. It was a fantastic 4 day getaway thanks to the resort and the area. Lots of animals and a mom and her 2 cubs was fun to watch. Even spent an afternoon on the pier out on the lake, had a picnic and fly fished. Thanks again for the great experience we will return. Do yourself a solid and go, won’t be disappointed.

The most magical setting. Excellent hosts and welcome. Comfortable, clean lodges which are really special. Amazing wildlife and a lovely restaurant. We loved every second of our stay and would have liked to stay longer. Next time! We will definitely be back.

Incredible location! Used the free canoes to enjoy the lake . The staff were all so friendly. In the morning there was a bear in de meadow in front of our chalet, watching him from the safety of our terras was amazing. It was a nice pause in our busy scedule during our trip. We should have definitely booked 3 nights instead of 2.

Had two nights here on a tour of the rockies. It’s a lovely place in the middle of nowhere. If you want peace and tranquility, this is the place to go. Don’t let the drive put you off, it’s really not that bad if you do it in the day light. The log cabins are gorgeous. They are spacious and have everything you need. The grounds are well thought out and the facility has good services, such as a laundry and bbq areas. There are boats, paddle board’s and kayaks for use on the lake. There is WiFi, but we found it slow and intermittent. There is no phone service up there. Be prepared for a digital detox, which is no bad thing.

The rooms are comfortable and the kitchens are well-supplied. There are several nice walking paths (some short, some long), and a wharf with a canoe, several rowboats, and several kayacks. The hot tub won't open until the middle of May and the two saunas won't be operational until next year. The setting is gorgeous and peaceful so the drive up the well-graded road was worth it. We particularly want to shout out to the people at the front desk and to Sean (chef) and Alex (sous chef) for their breakfast buffet and their dinner menu and meals.

Alpine Meadows Resort is beautiful 😍. Family of four, two kids aged 8 and 11yrs. We stayed for 2 nights that saw the resort battered by an intense down-burst storm. The power went down and things were not looking great. However… Katie and her team were completely brilliant. They moved us to a different cabin that did have power and took care of everything for us before we even got to think about it. All the staff were super friendly and helpful; the food at the restaurant and bbq fireside grill (really delicious home made ranch dressing at the bbq grill!) was all great as was the breakfast selection. An all around very enjoyable stay:) Thank you Katie and team ❤️
