"I stay in many premier inn’s throughout the year and I can honestly say this is the worst one I have stayed in, I have been staying here for over a month, getting your room cleaned is a joke you have to continually ask for a room cleaned is (3 days in a row before it was cleaned) restaurant is not much better been closed 4 days out the month once because the “chef” was grumpy so they were only excepting pre-paid. Most of the staff are friendly but you can be easily forgotten in the restaurant and have to shout to get your order taken or even get the drink you have ordered, management should not be in their job as the place is very very poorly run and if they can’t manage their staff correctly in the busy season the chain should replace them"

"Tucked right along the road between Mey Castle and Thurso, Celtic Lodge is a charming little inn made up of three newly built cabanas. Each one features a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms — one with a full-size bed, the other with a twin. The cabins are spotless and beautifully maintained: not a speck of dust, no damp, no chipped paint — everything feels fresh, modern, and just right. A thoughtful touch: the owner had left a bottle of milk in the fridge, ready for our arrival. We slept in late and enjoyed a quiet breakfast (we brought our own supplies), watching a deer wander just outside the kitchen window."
